You can't really compare them. I love them both but Kid A is more emotional and thought provoking than Is This It. For hanging with friends or drive music i'd prefer The Strokes but for tripping out alone in my late at night i'd prefer Kid A any day. Definitely depends on the context to which one listens to the albums though.
