>no Charli XCX
dropped

+ for Entranas though

...

wow, what an intetesting and original list OP

why don't you post yours :)

you fucking pleb

THIS is the REAL AOTY chart

...

+BP, Wildflower, Coloring Book, and UC2
-Views
Found Views super disappointing.

Check out Roly Porter - 3rd law if you want more ethereal electronic stuff like Matmos

>babyfather
KYS

Sadistic Monk - Utmost Blackness
Prince Billy and H.O.H. - Mista Hystericks
Richard Armin Quartet - Tumblin'
Oolacile Eyes - Negation of Angelic Flesh
PorpU.S. - 78' Mixtape
Dogfucker - Menstrual Milkshake

Not a bad chart minus the hip hop. What did you like so much about Views? I thought that album was J. Cole level mediocre.

Also, Ultralight Beam > All of Coloring Book

>Coloring Book
Nice meme

pleb spotted

>Kim Myhr/Jenny Hval/Trondheim Jazz Orchestra - In the End his Voice will be the Sound of Paper
>Ulaan Passerine - The Great Unwinding
>Avital Raz - Sad Songs about the End of Love
>Deak

THIS MAKES ME PROUD TO BE BRITISH
THIS MAKES ME PROUD TO BE BRITISH

You will defend this

no schoolboy?

epoty but it would be holding its own against full lengths if not for the hannah diamond song

bumo

fuck off pleb

the meme chart continues

I love Tim Hecker but Love Streams was quite dissapointing

...

>rob zombie
what in the holy fucking hell are you doing

pretty cool cd booklet though

I just thought the Rob Zombie one was a fun album, I like over the top shit along that vain (Why I like shit like Muse also, even if it isn't good it's still entertaining.)

well I'll give it another try but I just found it bad instead of so bad its good. Super mediocre compositions all around in every way. He needs to stick to film and visual art in general as evidenced by the rather inspired cd booklet

I guess, it certainly isn't a GOOD album, I just needed to fill in a space.

>No Sumac
What gives?

Baroness was last year though.

mid/late December is often given a free pass

I never knew this.

last year's pass was D'Angelo

lol, for legitimate publications maybe (since those albums came out after the end of year lists are put up) but I don't see why they should count for unofficial charts on Sup Forums.

Cuz I found the album in 2016 and didn't like most other albums this year. (I mean, I put a Rob Zombie album, you know I was scraping from the bottom of the barrel.)

I figure you sometimes also need a week or two to sit on an album (or at least I do) to figure how you properly feel about it.

Anyway, I'd love any recs if anyone likes similar shit to me.

new Guided By Voices?

I assume you know that Big Ups is highly derivative

1. The Savage Young Taterbug - Shadow of Marlboro Man
2. The Avalanches - Wildflower
3. Idris Ackamoor & The Pyramids - We Be All Africans
4. Anna Högberg Attack - Anna Högberg Attack
5. The Gerogerigegege - 燃えない灰 (Moenai Hai)
6. Accidente - Pulso
7. Death Grips - Bottomless Pit
8. Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool
9. Sick of Talk - Tour Promo 2016
10. Ghost Camp - Great Lakes
11. George Smallwood - Loser
12. Silent Servant - Hypnosis in the Modern Age Vol. II
13. Dauðyflin - Drepa Drepa

I do, but I still find myself listening to it so I put it on the chart. Thanks for the rec, I'll check it out.

>I do, but I still find myself listening to it so I put it on the chart.
oh yeah, I only mentioned that in reference to recommendations. Although I do count off for it.

Did you hear Deviant Process? Eastern Canada is fucking crazy this year. I thought one of the cities would be guaranteed city of the year but it looks to be pretty evenly spread out across the border.

I've really enjoyed this album

Anyone know how i can download all of King Krule's (Zoo Kid, DJ JD Sports, Edgar The Beatmaker, Edgar The Breathtaker, Lankslacks) music for free? Pirate Bay isn't working

Really enjoying this Deviant Process album, the only other proggy death metal release I've really enjoyed so far this year was that Chthe'ilist on profound lore. Thanks for the rec, user.

You can google each release and add blogspot to the search and usually find some blog reviews that include direct download links (especially non-english reviews), or you can search the rebeccablacktech archive for the release name + mega / zippy for links.

Tortoise-The catastrophist
Cian Nugent - Night Fiction
Fasenuova - Aullidos Metálicos
Yndi Halda - Under Summer
Nonkeen - The Gamble
Kendrick Lamar - untitled unmastered.
Lightning In A Twilight Hour - And All The Ships At Sea
Dälek - Asphalt for Eden
Causa Sui - Return To Sky
Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool
haircuts for men - 私は家を取りました
UN BLONDE - Good Will Come To You
ian william craig - Centres
Terrace Martin - Velvet Portraits

my pleasure, glad you like it.

Gorguts is the other big eastern canada album along with Chthe'ilist. I coulda swore there were a couple more but I'm drawing a blank.

found the worst album of the year

Jad Fair & David Fair - Shake, Cackle and Squall
August 5, 2016

Although it's so unbelievably awful it might get points for fascination. Keyword: might

*my toes are literally curling

No Autechre?wtf

Get on my level nerds

I like OP's better

So you've heard all of those albums, right? Right?

yuh!

>no AMDGMAAF

There's a reason for that

...

These are on my top 10 so far this year.

Projections are telling me that when the new Street Sects album drops. It's going to wipe everything on the floor this year.

bump

I really liked the new Death Grips, Radiohead, Swans and ANOHNI.

The new Avalanches was mildly dissapointing at first, but it grew on me and I like it for its own album. Obviously it's not as good as Since I Left You, but that's a hard album to follow up.

The new M83 was a massive disappointment. I really hated it. Also, the new Tim Hecker didn't do much for me.

Nobody going to mention Moonsorrow? Jumalten Aika is definitely my AOTY by a mile.

what does that fucking mean?

...

Still no Sumac album on here

I thought Sup Forums liked Aaron Turner.

That Amnesia Scanner EP was dope

Haven't listened to it but I'll check it out.

wew lad, I'm sure glad this isn't my taste in music

Probably will be cycling a few of these out, but this AOTY is mostly intact.
