It's cause it's considered to be a kind of essential classic album where everything that can be said about it has already been said by people into music, but at the same time, normies on Sup Forums have nothing to say about it either because it's not poppy enough for their virgin ears. It *should* be mentioned in ambient discussions because that's what they were going for anyway, but because it's labeled at metal and not ambient, it's not actually measured up with the music it's similar to.
