Here's a newer song by them that's better than most of their old shit: youtube.com/watch?v=R03cqGg40GU
Kind of get a new age Sinatra vibe from it

you're kidding right?

come on op, you made me pause my talking heads just to listen to that shit. that was fucking horrible

>mfw OP didn't realize they were shit the first time he listened to them

would you rather have 10 year olds listening to this or Fetty wap

youtube.com/watch?v=8347TkPldm8

They were always the shiteist of the shite

KYS

Fetty Wap

Like, it's not even close. Fetty Wap has some great tunes that this fuck awful band can't claim to have.

If you cant love trap queen, you're a fuckwit with no friends

this is you

youtube.com/watch?v=t7ShR2Y3AJI

You're right ya know. Even if Fetty Wap is mediocre, he has some bops

Better be an Asian midget than a panic family lmfao

I was so ready for fetty Wap to be shit but then damn. Dude got some bangers

Why are the vocals so loud in this whole mix?

fetty wap is talentless hack personified

also his fan base is made up of 10 year olds

were you born in 2006 user?

Band members mysteriously dropped off one by one and now it's the Brendon show. He's a good performer even if his music is shit, guess this is what he wanted all along

They were always shit, OP. Urie's substantial musicianship was never able to overcome the bands exceptional fagginess.

SHE MY TRAP QUEEN

>they

It's just Brendon Urie all by himself, the newest album was written, recorded and produced all by him. IMHO it's the best they (he) have ever done.

so why did the quality drop off so hard after the first album?

that's a matter of opinion, i prefer the last two albums over the first one

True I respect that, I was a huge fan of the first album when it came out in 05. When pretty odd came out I wasn't into it so I haven't listened again until today.
Just curious, what about those albums makes you like them?

the asian kid go hard as hell, thanks for this user

yikes

I was 13 when their first album came out and I'm not gonna pretend I didn't like it. Everybody did. I was never big into that type of music but there was something that spoke to the 13-year-old me and I do have fond memories of sitting in the cafeteria with a headphone splitter in my friend's portable cd player. Then Pretty Odd came out three years later. I was 16. It was again the perfect time, I was super into my dadrock phase and it sounded enough like the Beatles that I could enjoy it.

But going back and listening to these albums are more about nostalgia than anything. Previous poster is right, the mix is really bad and Pretty Odd is so conceptually disjointed, you can hear the members going their separate ways. I haven't listened to any of their work since Pretty Odd because I know I'm not the intended listener, I grew up.

This is a band for teenagers and I'm no longer one.

I've heard worse. It's pretty catchy

>more about nostalgia than anything

Op here, I can confirm this

which is why it's so painful to hear the new stuff now

bump

I liked them up through Vices desu senpai

And Miss Jackson rocks but that's the only newer song I tolerate

I completely agree. If you can't get down to these jams then you need to spend a fuckin' day in the real world with the roof off the car on a hot day. Go out and do some shit.

normie get off my board

>First song on first album is "swear to shake it up if you swear to listen"
>nobody listens, judges by stereotypes/ radio singles
>tfw

pretty odd is fucking good dude. ITs like olivia tremor control without the 10 minute sound collages

The same man that made this:

Went on to make this:

What in the WORLD

I also liked vices and virtues for some reason. It's pretty poppy, but it was catchy too.

>Band
There's only Brendon.
