How do you organize your music Sup Forums ?

Untitled mp3s @ 128kbps

I'm too lazy to keep up with organizing my folders so when i torrent discographies I change it to the artists name, specific albums goes artist - album (year)

I lol'd

>Music
>>DadMusic
>>MyMusic
>>>Artist
>>>>Albums

Now I do it just like you, OP.

>Music
>>Albums

>>Old Music
>>>Old albums

My Music\Library\Artist Name or Label Name if it's a multiple artist release\[YEAR] Release Title (LABEL)

>thumbnails

Itunes does it for me.

>[Artist]
>>FORMAT
>>>[Artist]
>>>>Album

Same

>music
>>artist
>>> release year - album

I like when discographies are chronological

>Kahimi Karie twice
>Needless katakana which makes you switch input methods when you have to search
>Album art not embedded into files themselves
>unironically being a GNU/looser
>being a GNU/looser and relying on a graphical file manager anyway

mama mia!

Wait
Did you just webm Sup Forums?
And with a file structure question?
I
I don't know what to think...

>E:
>>\Music
>>>\whatever folder i downloaded them in

i just let my music player deal w. whatever metatags

It's called tags dumbfuck

Alphabetical order by artist, chronological order by release

Used to be
Music Folder/Artist Folder/Album Folder/Song Files
Recently I've been doing
Music Folder/Artist - Year - Album/Song Files and it's really been a lot more convenient

>Album art not embedded into files themselves

Not anyone's fault but yours famalam

Music>Genre>Sub-genre>Artist>Album

Used to use the automated thing in iTunes but now I just put a bunch of albums in a folder and use the search to find what I want.

D:/Sorted-Music/Band/Album/

Do you guys seriously go and manually edit all of your tags? Please don't tell me you actually do that.

pic related, use musicbee fagets

>this many posts
>barely any screenshots

most of my music have tags

...

I don't currently have enough music to post a screenshot without being berated

>ARTIST twice
Redundant

>Music
>letting musicbee do whatever it wants
i know i'm a pleb

Artist
[year] album
01 - Track 1
02 - Track 2
03 - Track 3

1000*1000 high res art

>Search box

oh look it's that album I wanted to listen to nice thanks streaming

Come on guys it's 2016

here's your (You)'s. enjoy them as much as you pretend to enjoy music.

Enjoy being a poorfag

>Album art not embedded into files themselves
To make the files bigger? Instead using just one copy (cover.jpg) why using a copy for each file?

Oh and in the metadata

Origin of artist
Record label it's released on

Best way. You can find anything easily.

If an artist has releases in different genres, what do you do? Where do you put Ulver as an example?

I dont. I have Apple music thingy, streaming is legitimately great. But i keep a track on the albums ive listened too in a small notebook.

This is the best way. Let the program do the work. MusicBee has also an AutoTagging feature.

You need some Grimes.

Last.fm: Paper edition

I just let spotify organize my shit so I can just enjoy music instead of worrying how I would organize my folders.

beets is really great for that

I have one album or piece, listen to it until I'm bored and then delete it and move on to the next one

Listening to opeth not expecting anything remotely related to metal is actually quite ok, but Incantation play better music either way.

>beets
mah nigga
/ - / .opus

Not him/her, but I put it based on the genres of the debut or my favorite album.

i have a foobar script that auto organizes my stuff

music library/first name of band ignoring "the"/band name/(year of album) - album/track number - track name

i do the first letter thing because i dont want to kill my hd every time i open the library folder

Like this.

>Snarky puppy
