>implying their first album isn't good
implying ferris wheel on fire isn't good

>Implying that everything La dispute has put out is not 10/10 goat material

...

their first album is generic screamo

Their first EP and album are finely craft practician post-hardcore masterpieces

...

NMH has some good tapes, and OAI is better anyways

not great, but pretty good

the format was an okay band but some nights is awful

this, though, is great

probably their worst album

>implying their second album isn't good

this is a top-tier album cover

that isnt AM

I know everyone on here hated AM because tumblr liked it, but its not a bad album

Faggot

Will you Stop being a fantano drone, its an enjoyable album

They aren't necessarily a shit band but they're work stopped being good in '03

I agree 100%

I hated it mainly because its sound wasn't at all similar to its roots, they'd been Americanized horribly, ditched their accents, very simplified songs etc. I liked them but AM was a huge step back in my opinion from the fresh faced Alex that was enjoyable in "Whatever people think I'm that's what I'm not" and "favorite worst nightmare"

>discover Aim and Ignite on Sup Forums
>love it
>friends love it
>Some Nights announced
>get together for a hangout/listening party
So fucking awful. There was nothing redeemable about that album. My roommate insisted for awhile that it wasn't terrible, but that lasted about a week.

Honestly though, the worst thing to happen was the shitty singles becoming huge, so now it's impossible to talk about Aim and Ignite without it being retroactively tainted in the minds of others by the spread of those fucking Super Bowl ads.

Also, Nate's solo shit and the one behind Bleachers are embarrassing projects.

Rooms of the house is a total miss imo

The only correct answer ITT

Fair enough, I still really enjoyed it, they took a more mellow turn, but theres still hints of earlier work in First reactions and For Mayor in Splitsvile, and the more emotional stuff like in wildlife is still present in The child we lost, and the outro track is top tier too, fair enough if you didn't like it but I can't see why not too

Na mate, you need to rethink your personal definition of screamo

I think they started to suck this year desu
