Replace American Football with Astral Weeks and then replace Animals with American Football.

Where is Mbdtf my nig?

Did you even look?

wheres grimes

In the Court of the Crimson King is especially good if you've read The Dark Tower series. So fucking badass.

Welcome to Sup Forums

First day, is it?

Nobody talks about The Dismemberment Plan anymore.

replace them all with stratosphere

Actually yeah... total newfag to Sup Forums

Been on other boards for years but just always assumed Sup Forums was probably a bunch of contrarian hipsters that hate every single thing anyone else has heard of...

It's actually not bad here.

t. /lit/fag

I feel like that chart needs Dummy

this. you're better off putting Faust or Sing to God up there

Honestly think Lonesome Crowded West needs a mention

Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, but desu know one really talks about it any more

what are your favorite albums?

Blackstar has potential, its popping up on all kinds of favorite charts and has broad appeal

Deakin's Sleep Cycle will be apart of the AnCo related classics for years

Glowing Man and AMSP are overshadowed by their Sup Forumscore predecessors

How does ITCOCK complement The Dark Tower?

Wait
Where is OKC?

Lonesome Crowded West > Emergency & I

I like the actual updated chart though.

Astral Weeks has been rising

Do you have a copy? Would love to see the changes

Agreed with Lonesome Crowded West

Stephen King was inspired by it. He's a huge rock fan so there are quite a few classic rock gems he either mentions or references in the series.

The main villain (The Crimson King) is obviously inspired by the song. The castle itself and the court are also referenced. The thing about the fire witch also inspired a big event in Wizard and Glass.

He even describes something sounding like someone playing a saw, which King Crimson did on one of their albums.

Great music in general and especially good to throw on while reading some of the books.

Here you go senpai

Stratosphere by Duster should probably be in Sub at this point. Maybe Flood by Boris.

I don't see Burial talked about enough to be included in Sub.

Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack
In the Court of the Crimson King
Buckethead - Crime Slunk Scene
All Pink Floyd
Eric Johnson - Ah Via Musicom
Yngwie Malmsteen - Fire & Ice

Lots of solo guitarists... That kind of thing.

There's an antagonist named the King Crimson and the dark tower became his court after he resided there

It also fits the setting and tone of the series

There's a cheesy but good power metal band called Demons & Wizards (combo of Iced Earth/Blind Guardian) and they made an entire concept album about The Dark Tower.
Its called Touched by the Crimson King

What happened to pitchfork-core?

Think they just kinda combined it with sub Sup Forumscore

listen to some more blues and classical guitar, then into jazz, along with some light noise and maybe some post-punk. I think that might be good for you to get into more music.

The Roots of Lightnin' Hopkins - Lightnin' Hopkins
Bach's classical guitar pieces
West Side Soul - Magic Sam
Cure For Pain - Morphine
Django Reinhardt's music
Dopethrone - Electric Wizard

and consult But don't just follow that shit, listen to whatever you like

In what parts of the story would you fit each song?

>browsed /lit/ for years
>didnt visit Sup Forums because it might be full of contrarian hipsters

I have some news for you, friend

pitchfork-core stopped making sense when the newer charts just added sub-Sup Forumscore albums to it

do you want prog recommendations or do you want to get into "Sup Forumscore"?

Yeah, regardless of whether you like it, Twin Fantasy should be on there as well as Stratosphere

...

Blurryface
Old Boots New Dirt

fuck you

>It's actually not bad here.
just lurk a little longer
