ITT: Albums that fall apart in the second half.

Wrong

first post truth post

All the insane energy from the first half seems to disappear after Mr. Beat.

You're so wrong it hurts

...

First half is some of the best hip-hop to come out of the 90s and the 2nd half is some of the worst music ive ever managed to endure

No

Since OP's wrong as fuck, I'll start

>Star
>Hang on to Yourself
>Ziggy Stardust
>Suffragette City
>Rock and Roll Suicide

you fukkin kiddin me?

what is secret life of arabia?

...

It's too bad, the first half is 10/10

...

Seasick, yet still docked is literally the best song on that album f a m

wrong as fuck

nigga what the 2nd half blows the first almost completely out of the water

dark souls 1

...

Sky pup and anything after copache should've just been taken off the album

It doesn't really fall apart but for the amount of times I have listened to this album, it is weird that the only thing off the second disc I can remember is the final track.

Dude how do you forget The Sound and The Final Sacrifice?

oh my fuck, this. I completely forgot about this album. Tigerlily is great

shoot yourself in the head

...

I think I just zone out is the problem. It's all beautiful and flows really well, but maybe it flows so well that I don't remember to listen to everything. I also sleep to it a lot and fall asleep by the end of the first disc.

...

i will destroy you

...

what the fuck how does devil in a new dress, hell of a life, lost in the world, and motherfucking runaway constitute as falling apart

Mostly just after Runaway

This. jenny death was ok but niggas on the moon is some of dg's best work.

Does anyone else feel like OK Computer has a bit of filler at the end? I think "no surprises" is the only of the last 4 that I like.

Switch "no surprises" with "Exit Music" and you would have a real dreary second half.

on-americans will NEVER understand Who Will Survive In America

what the fuck are you doing

I'm from Brooklyn, though

Speaking the truth

...

Love this, but without the deluxe edition's additions, the album really falls apart.

...

Zero Pharoah and No reptiles are dank tbqh family

...

Hell, I even like Blast Doors, but the first five songs are just so much better imho senpai

...

Can't believe it took this long to post this

Sadly does after Luau

Bait

So boring I might as well be dead by the end of it

>We Hate It
>Seasick
>I Know It's Gonna Happen
>Tomorrow
Wrong

Imagine being this wrong

True its quality in the first half but i don't think it falls apart in the second half, just tones down the quality a little.

Drops right after All Through the Night, although I'm not crazy about She-Bop

Yes!! This!!

No way Jos. Not with Everything I Am on the latter half.

is nico a hack?

I'm thinking yes, but femme fatale is dank

I wouldn't say it falls apart, but NotM >>>>> JD

>Not liking 'I'll be your mirror' or the entirety of 'Desertshore'

...

...

...

and before Luau too, Luau is the only good song off that album, and that's because of Rob Crow.

Came to post this actually, it's probably the worst early Melvins album anyway.

yeah

Silver is better than Copper but the second half is still good.

Absolutely not.

I hear that about this album all the time but honestly the second half has some of my favorites.

Tracks 1-11 are amazing, then the rest are just there...

...

shut the FUCK up

No.

...

...

Ok Computer falls apart after 4 tracks

Barry Bonds and Drunk & Hot Girls are the only bad songs on this album. I do agree that the 2nd half is slightly weaker, but Flashing Lights and The Glory are GOAT Ye songs

...

...

>It's fucking Joni Mitchell

are you blind or just plain retarded? not all women look the same

Only good songs of the 2nd half were the last two.

...

SECRET SECRET

..what?

I'LL RAAAAPEEEEE YAAAAAAAAA

This is a great album and every song is good but as far as a concept album is concerned it starts out strong and falls apart in the middle of side two (Or after the song "Medac" for all the people who own the C.D.)

no

I unironically love these songs a lot.

lmao stay pleb Sup Forums

Fuck off

Which is especially impressive since the first half isn't all that special.

...

Man that album goes downhill after the first song

gotta be bait

this is one of the most boring Melvins albums

the second half throws you into a vortex of transcendence, wtf is wrong with you

not all the second half, but the last half of the second disc, but it gets good again with Farewell and Goodnight. they are also some pretty shit songs sprinkled around the first half

this album is pretty solid

>he doesn't like Birthday Boy
>he doesn't like Puffy Cloud
lmao stay pleb

the second half only has two mediocre songs, the rest are great

i agree with you, never understood the circlejerk for Sgt. Pepper's

the first half is better, but the second one isn't bad at all. that closer really drags tho

>Taste
>Bluish
>Brothersport

Come on, dude.

isnt this the same case for straight outta compton?

>first four tracks
>interesting, experimental, weird
>other tracks
>ratio-tier pop-rock songs obscured by special effects that plebs try to defend because "muh feels"

I'd say their first album is more worthy of the title, I adore the whole of Get To Heaven personally
Man Alive has got My Kz, Querty Finger and Schoolin as the first three tracks, only Come Alive Diana and NASA that make the second half good really.

Then again, I'm implying this already wasn't disintegrating after the first track.

Last track does sound more accessible than the first one. Like the end of a high school movie where the guy is trying to get the girl back and everyone ends happy. You know? It"s a little cliched and for all purposes, too dreamy and too poppy for an album that starts so noisy and kicking the barrel with heavy instrumentation. The production is awesome though, it adds a dimension of false depth to the music which is ha! Fitting.

Thoughts on their first album?

Tracks 1-9 are GOAT, including Flying High.

...

The concept of the album wears off yeah, but the second half is still amazing

Easy answer.

I didn't know what to expect with the Korean lettering. The voice acting clips in some of the tracks were an interesting choice for a stinger.

I did fall asleep during the track CD Factory.

still my favorite album though

...

Surprised no one has said this.
