Living more than 1.5 hrs from a big city (metro population 1+ million)

>living more than 1.5 hrs from a big city (metro population 1+ million)

How do you deal with boredom?

I don't know this feel.

I used to live in a village of less than 150 people, I miss it a lot.

>living in a hive of niggers, kikes, fags and spics
How do YOU deal with it?

Go out and breathe the fresh air in. Ride a bike in the countryside. Go fishing. Hangout with mates at a pub of a nearby 100k people city that's only 15 minutes away.

What's the point of living in a city larger than 100k, really? IMAX screens? Larger concerts?

I built an aquaponics system so I spend a decent part of my time maintaining and improving that

Other than that, I just like to walk n sheeit

>aquaponics
Is this for some survivalist thing?

It costs less than buying it from the store and I don't like buying shit from Kroger anyway.

Try 9 hours

W-why

I daydream about the day I finally move to one of the major metros. I do that probably every day

t. resident of the flyoverest of flyovers, at least 4 hours away from a city in any direction

>Nebraska

Nearest city is a 9h drive from me

Thankfully no, Iowa

I live in a 2 million people city, still I don't go out of my room

it's nothing

if you're already introvert/boring, you'll still be like that there

I know, why do you live that far out?

Oh. Des Moines is a shithole

>flyoverest of flyovers, at least 4 hours away from a city in any direction
How is it even possible to make a living out of such place? Oil extraction or agriculture?

Makes my neurons fire up

I work from home and have to go into the office maybe once every two weeks

Not him btw

Agriculture mostly, yeah. It seems like we have 999 million square miles of corn, and there are at least 2 pigs for every 1 person in this state.

Although there are a lot of office jobs too. A bunch of insurance companies have their headquarters here for god knows what reason.

What do you do senpai, I really need to get a new job

Music, food, drink, friends.

The same things I do now that I'm in the city.

>What do you do senpai, I really need to get a new job
Tax Accountant

You can always do something with IT

It's awful since living so far away from a city means having the shittiest internet imaginable. But I think living in a large city is even worse

Can you not get satellite based internet, or is that shitty as well?

...

the biggest city in the south island has 200 000 people

so the nearest big city is at least 15 hours drive + a 3 hour ferry across the cook strait

wtf, mine isn't anywhere near that bad

Closest metro area is Minneapolis, it's about a 4 hour drive.
It kinda sucks being far away from stuff.

>Los Angeles

so is it true that some aussies / canadians do homeschooling / teleschool because if distance?

t. dakotan, even here I couldn't imagine being that far from a town
