Another city in Finland (Tampere) just fell for the tram meme.

Enjoy that rail driven piece of shit

Yep.

We also recently got a monorail.

>yes
>yes

trams are the patrician mode of public transport

>transports more people than a bus
>has dedicated tracks which make it go faster than a bus(average speed is higher)
>is more comfortable than underground rail
>is aesthetic
You're the meme here

Rio has it

Yeah, in fact, I am using one right now (Tenerife)

Only in Sofia, i think

Yes but rio has favelas and is the shittiest city In Brazil
>english sign

Yeah, we do have...and it seems they're becoming fashionable again, after we got rid of many of them after ww2...

no ;(

You got it

>Warmia
>Yes
Trams are cheaper in mantainiance than buses here and much more quiet. They never break down because our city went for a prototype and trusted Solaris(one of the Polish tram companies) and now our trams are shown at every rail market show as a example.

yes

Russia
Yes
Use it every day. Pretty comfy, it always has a free seat and runs on a schedule so I don't have to wait for more than a minute since I know the timetable.

do you like sexual intercourse on tram?

No, but it easily can be arrange by the police if you're not paying for a ticket.

...

>flag
>yes
I don't get why you dislike them tho

Finnish trams are too small to avoid being social in. It's an autistic thing, I imagine.

>step on tram track
>get electrocuted to death
Who ever thought this was a good idea??

spåra > dösä

>2016
>not having a guided bus

W-what is the purpose of this construction

what in the fuck is this

>hurri

>bönde

...

Banter

It's a regular bus that locks in to those guides on certain, non-traffic routes and basically becomes like a tram. Means you don't have to have awkward crossings everywhere
Cambridgeshire has the world's longest guided busway

>designated shitting buses
This could be a thing in India.

not anymore

Yes
Yes, the best in teh world tbf

How long till first spörä sporas in Tampere? I can't wait to ride around Hervanta @20km/h

trams are better than buses

homohurrihesehintti

>Cambridgeshire has the world's longest guided busway
Yeah and the only one. What a shit "invention"

*gasp*
The 6T in Helsinki is my getting-home-when-I'm-too-tired-to-check-the-bus-timetable.
Takes about 5-10 minutes longer than a bus, but I enjoy riding them more for some reason.

But...
but.......
BUT THAT'S A FUCKING BUS

...

I've seen a documentary about a line like this in Japan.

They used to be train rails as you can see but it's not worth it anymore to run trains. They thus transform the tracks into a special bus track and the bus has some sort of special tires that don't need to deal with normal roads.

Flg
No
Thank god

Vad är det för fel, min bönde kompis? En mindervärdeskomplex, kanske?

The real question is when Turku gets its spörö spärä

eri :^)

Iceland
No, and no trains either, there would be too much risk of the rails crossing elven lands and no government body is ready to take that risk, the consequences could potentially be disastrous for the Icelandic people as the elven citizens might start a civil war, death, curses and mischief.

Yeah we have trams, just got new ones a few years back. Not a big fan of them myself because they are usually so cramped

yes we have them

Tourist trap in Prague

We have the same tram here in Braunschweig. It's a bit cramped on some seats, but they are really quiet. I like that since they run directly under my window

Majority of people in Prague cant read czech so yeah you need english signs

>Majority of people in Prague cant read czech
What?

Ye, we got on a tram in Prague, trying to reach Petrinhill. Ended up going like 5 stops too long and had to walk back. Luckily we found some brittish tourists who helped us, otherwise we would probably still be stuck on that tram to this day.

Those are the most quet trams on Earth. No joke, if they make some noise while moving it's tracks fault.

Yes. Sometimes the tram is going in the middle of nowhere, I feel an infantryman aboard the huey, Vietnam.

Yes. Tatra T3SU.

...

>thread about public transportation
>not a single American post
Can't they afford a proper public transportation?

We have special newly built tracks with damper systems. All you hear is a bit of wind. Every car that passes on the street is louder.
They are planning new tracks in the city, even though our network isn't that bad.

We have mostly czech trams that they sell us when they got old enough.

>how to spot a hillbilly butthurt that his little shit town doesn't have trams

Light rail is close enough.

that's just a train

you're just a train

We had a lethal accident here because a guy didn't hear it comming.

...

Lucky bastards, these trams are the comfiest, I hate the new low types

I also believe that accidents are more common now, especially with cyclists.
Well, that's just like their own fault. The tracks don't change that often.

>Current tram systems include Sapporo Street Car (Sapporo) and Hakodate City Tram (Hakodate) in Hokkaidō; Tokyo Toden and Tokyu Setagaya Line in (Tokyo), Enoden (Kamakura), Toyohashi Railroad (Toyohashi), Toyama Light Rail and Toyama Chihō Railway (Toyama), Man'yōsen (Takaoka), Randen (Kyoto), Hankai Tramway (Osaka), Okaden (Okayama), and Hiroden (Hiroshima) on Honshū; Iyotetsu (Matsuyama) and Tosaden (Kōchi) on Shikoku; and Nagasaki Electric Tramway (Nagasaki), Kumamoto City Tram (Kumamoto), and Kagoshima City Tram (Kagoshima) on Kyūshū. Some extend into neighboring communities.

Japan is the victim of tram meme now.

Why is that tram so short?

Snow Mikus are so hard to get sometimes.

damn

Yea my city does. It's pretty nice sometimes

Tiny trains among the cars. Absolutely horrifying.

Because subway are more practical.

Well, that depends on the size of your city. We () have 250k, there is no need for a full subway system.
So your trams just drive short routes from tram stations into other neighborhoods?

Sapporo have 2 millions and peoples prefer to travel in underground than bear the cold outside in winter.

>I hate the new low types
This.

The old Latvian ones were also good. Too bad there is no more left.

about to close city tram system
It would be great if they change trams on trolleys.

What city is this?

yes
in Vitebsk, Navapolatsk,Mazyr and Minsk

they are fucking garbage

Why do böndes hate civilization so much?

Lugansk
