Post legitimately terrifying albums
Is this an ASMR album.
...
not again
Is this going to be a meme now or something?
it's terrifying only if you're an autist child
...
...
>If listening to a piece of music causes you to have an emotional response to it, you must be autistic
That's literally the opposite of autism
it is is you're terrified by medical matter
bump
There's something really eerie about Lou's playing on this one.

Nice meme
anyway murder they say :^)

What an edgy name. I smell 70's industrial.
It was so spooky I shit myselfhes looking at us
Not really the whole album but the way Malcolm sings in Soul Desert makes me feel uncomfortable
That album literally is audio recordings of someone trying to talk without a larynx. Once you get past how disturbing that is it's actually more educational than anything else
Still a great album
and simultaneously hilarious
there is only 1 track actually uncomfy
pleb coming through
terrifying or not this is a fun listen
Fuck him.
Yeah fuck swans they are too loud and crazy
Like scary how awful it is?
love diamanda and this album actually lmao
i miss when Sup Forums used to talk about shit like this seriously, like when folks posted zero kama and enemite and shit
the dudes posting c93 and diamanda own though
plague mass probably has the best cover art that's been conceived
Another You is actually painful.
First time i heard this album i was in the backseat of a car at like 2am listening to it on headphones and dazing off
>the car is on fire, and there's no driver at the wheel
i about shit my fucking pants
plague mass is one of the creepiest covers made, agreed
Shes extremely talented, but gives me the willies
holy shit are you me
plague mass is legitimately creepy in general
...
this, if ayy lmaos scare you
I'm listening to this for the first time all the way through alone in a different house while dogsitting right now.
I don't think it's so bad but maybe it comes later. On Volcano right now
>Those last 30 seconds
Might've lost a few months off my life given the shock to my heart
That's it, that's the album. I love it.
But there's no way I'd listen to it at night, too spooky.
that still doesn't make any sense actually
>tfw after the first listen it's less intense, overwhelming fear and more intense, overwhelming despair every time
that last track is always difficult
i never understood how people found soundtracks scary. cop and children of god are peak unsettling when it comes to swans, and even then it's just a feeling of domineering/subservient sexuality to the albums respectively
spencer clark's cool, non-music shit is always super interesting. florian hecker and nuno canavarro were tops for this as well, but nuno's shit was almost strangely romantic-sounding
Unfortunately the only place I can find that album not reversed is here leakyfaucet.us
both are good
the only appropriate response
listened to this for the first time walking alone through woods in the middle of the night without realising what i was in for
Scott Walker's The Drift never fails to make me jump at least a couple of times. Pretty extreme stuff.
that nuno song is like being wrapped up and sexed by some sort of anthro-spider queen while you slowly lose consciousness from blood toxicity and finally pass out
I'LL PUNCH A DONKEY IN THE STREETS OF GALWAY
SUCKIN ON A DING DONG
gives me chills every time
