What happens if you are in emergency? Say you need insta treatment in a decent hospital but you are living in rural area where you can only get to it by heli or cars.
Is there any solution to this?
Also, hows the health welfare?
I would seriously worry about that.

There are three hospitals, one in Suðuroy, one in Tórshavn and one in Klaksvík. You get transported to the closest one. If you live on Skúgvoy (or any island without a tunnel connection), the helicopter transports you to the closest hospital. If you live in Kalsoy, you go to Klaksvík, etc.
