ITT: Shit normies say

>I'm more of a beats guy instead of a lyrics guy

>Everything but Rap and country

>radiohead is my fav band

>I'm more of a lyrics guy myself

Nomies are the ones who like rap, user.

>When do the lyrics start?
>You actually listen to this?
>This is too trippy for me, you have to be high to enjoy this

>I'm more of a beats guy instead of a lyrics guy

who are

>Madlib
>el-p
>clams casino
>spaceghost
>no id

are you a normie?

>dude how much drugs were these guys on when they made this?

rap is pretty normie by now

>>This is too trippy for me, you have to be high to enjoy this

I work with a guy who unironically thinks that The Wall is unintelligible unless you're totally out of your mind on drugs.

>I can't even understand what they're saying

meanwhile Drake, Future, and Desiigner....basically most modern rap acts that fall at all outside of dudes spitting actual bars, are all really hard for me to understand lyrically

that guy sounds like a huge faggot

>I like 90's rap, modern rap has no meaning just drugs and sex ex dee!!!!

also this

"hurr durr you have to be high to enjoy it"
fuck off

>I only listen to our generation music

If lyrics > beat how come there are instrumental hip-hop albums but not acapella rap albums

>I like rock, but not the one where it's just screams

He's a good dude, he's just... way off base about pop culture. He thinks Star Wars is some cinema version of punk rock, somehow. As in only cool, underground people know what it is.

or
>I only listen to old music, this generations music sucks!

i agree w you but personally not a fan of instrumental albums

will concede that instrumental albums are patrician though

>implying punk rock is something only underground people know

he's merely explaining his coworker's mindset. simmer down sperglord

That's his state of mind, not mine.

oh ok sorry user

wew lad

glad im a neet and i dont have to deal with people like that

>is that the kind of music where they just scream?
>is that screamo?
>I just don't like the vocals
>that's satanic
I've heard all of these about fucking Nails

Overheard some guy the other day talking about how Dave Grohl is one of the best musicians ever because he's genuine and shows a true love of the medium.

Why is screencapping drawing errors in Simpson episodes a thing? Do these make people laugh?

yeah

>I don't listen to classical and jazz
>All music is subjective
>Pop music has value

>he doesnt know what spoken word is

>it's pretty underground/indie
>this is pretty weird, you probably won't like it
>music has gotten worse
>they don't make music like they did in *whatever year they got into music*

>This is too trippy for me, you have to be high to enjoy this
All I listen to are jam bands but mostly Grateful Dead. My friends think you can't enjoy jam bands unless you're high as shit. Never gotten high, drunk, whatever in my life and can still enjoy them daily.

>when do the lyrics start
Same thing. Because apparently 10:00 is too long for a song.

yes boy

i used to feel that way until i realized that even people with some stupid opinions are often times worth talking to

>Paul is the best Beatle

I honestly think pop music has some value, even if I don't listen to it

>why is this song so long?

>this is pretty weird, you probably won't like it
I say this pretty often because most of my friends are normies. Better to not show them something and continue on than to show them Death Grips and get a weird look.

>Everything but Rap and country
Well, they ARE shit

>"user this is my metal jam"
>the song was from pic related

ringo till i die

>country
real country music is good

not that pop country shit out now

>drawing errors
Those are either inbetweens or actual reactions from the characters.

> send my friend links to bands I like or he might like and when I ask him what he thinks about it he criticizes their name, instruments, or looks.

>Mfw it's only a 5 minute song

Fun fact, I once heard someone insult someone else for listening to 90s rap, and then say that all they talk about is sitting on the block
I was flabbergasted

I don't even hate 90's rap, it's just some people dismiss anything that wasn't released in the 90's.

I totally agree with your point, just was giving you an opposite example that I find just as bad

>what's a normie
>why should I care if it's not HD, it's a song, not a video
>don't you ever go outside?

>turn this shit down, it is hurting my ears.

>iT IS TOO LOUD.

>i really enjoyed that bit of brittany spears.

>is it my turn to pick the next song

my wife's contributions.

>my wife

>did you know you can just download it off YouTube?
>I finally got an iTunes gift card
>my earbuds on close $5
>I really want a pair of Beats

>I love this
>user, you have such good taste in music
>I can't recommend anything to you because you already know everything lol

Feels good man

>wifing a normie

You fucked up user

>>I really want a pair of Beats

Fucking ugh

Any good reccs?

>I only listen to two types of music
>country, and western

I agree with the beats and country. It's usually the beats really I notice. And EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY SONG sounds the same!

as a normie, I go with sony

>I appreciate that kind of music but I only listen to this other one
>I absolutely love them I just never listen to them
>I just listen to what I know
>I know it's not good but I like it

I fit into most any social setting.
I legitimately like myself and am not always depressed.
I have few problems striking up a conversation with attractive members of the opposite sex.
I had my first kiss before 10 and lost my virginity before 16.

>checked
As an audiophile, Sony can make some really great headphones but they also make some memes.

when I listen to music, it depends on what mood i'm in. for example, when I do homework I like to turn on jazz.

>I can't understand anything he's saying
>do you like edm?
>have you heard this remix of *insert any top 100*
>I like Fetty Wap and Young Thug

Drake is really easy to understand

I get designer and future though

>But you don't speak their language, how can you like something you don't understand?

youtube.com/watch?v=xv2HhtnIWzI

Nigga acapella rap is just called poetry.
Are you retarded?

honestly though if it really is too loud you could fuck up her ears, as well as your own

ino wehda hali blinge, dakatana mewathing

Some riffs were kinda metal but not like overtly metal plus the lead singer's delivery in degausser could totally make people think it was the emo song on a metal record

F-fucking normies, a-am I r-right?
Faggot some people like music when they're doing stuff, and it depends on the mood.

>yeah i'm not really into rock. i'm more into funk at the moment because i like to broaden my horizons
>rock music may display technical skill but jazz displays improvisational skill which is quite another thing (in response to a fucking improvised guitar solo from a live recording)
>in my opinion beat it has the best guitar solo of all time
>it's cool that you like classic rock so much like this song... but i like my music to be diverse

it wasn't even classic rock. it was lisa germano

i fucking despise this guy. my stoner friends won't stop inviting him around

>I listen to music

"Is this the baby smasher song?"
"You must be really angry to like this stuff."
"Did he just hail satan?"
"Okay he definitely said something about satan."
In all fairness a few of those were while listening to carnifex. Just because it's deathcore doesn't mean it's satanic.

One of my friends wanted me to close the opening track of Hosianna Mantra because it was too "creepy"

Are you disabled?
I know when that hotline blings, that can only mean one thing

Few of my friends used to get creeped out by Manson. Pretty entertaining.

>Yes, I like listening to music. It's quite enjoyable, you see. Music has opened my eyes to the world around me.

>of COURSE I listen to music, you fracking normbo! I bet you spend your time watching TV like a sheep... I pity you, I really do.

>Normies make me sick. My music tastes are so beyond the capacity of the mindless masses, it disgusts me.

>Well you see, I like them because of the complicated cord progression and internal dissonant wammy hamming
>no, I don't play an instrument

>I have ear drums

Okay he looks like this kid I knew who went by Vince pretty faggy kid.

That is why they snicker to their boyfriends/girlfriends about how fucking weird you are.

>I post on an anime image board for neets and weeaboos to talk about my music tastes... Yeah, I'm pretty sophisticated.

>pic is bruno mars

this was actually a funny shitpost

>I prefer listening to my phone's speaker out loud than use my ear buds
>headphones are nice but earbuds are just easier
>I like as much bass as I can get
>I normally just put an album on shuffle

Fedor Xd

>my hobbies include music, talking about how much I hate normies, and derailing threads on my secret internet club

>Pop music? Phhs... It's nothing personnel, but to even suggest enjoying your "popular" music is to confirm that your taste in music is purely factory made

>spending 20 minutes shitposting is a really good way to spend my time
>also, something ironic, lol xd

>I often forget pictures
also
>listening to music in 2016

>Lil Wayne is a bad rapper
>lol reggae is only for stoners right guys
>[Kurt Cobain/Ian Curtis/Nick Drake/Elliott Smith] were such genius tortured souls!!!!!
>heh pop is so shit, I only listen to real, genuine, emotional music like Smashing Pumpkins and Stone Temple Pilots
>rap is crap, all they do is talk about sex and drugs. Oh the Rolling Stones? I love them!

did you mumble something low volume under your breath? I'm sorry but I couldn't hear you over the sounds of my girlfriends tongue in my ear.

My friend once called Daft Punk EDM and I just smurked and said "Yep they sure are."

are you literally autistic?

Nailed it

>I absolutely love them but I never listen to them

This is pretty okay, you can listen to an artists discography for like a month or two and then take a break until they release new material or you just really want to listen to them

Yeah this is the best. I love it when I show people music while we're high and they start freaking out about how good it is and praising me
