DUDE JUST LIKE HEAVEN LMAO
DUDE FREAK SCENE LMAO
DUDE BUG LMAO
DUDE YOURE LIVING ALL OVER ME
DUDE GREAT THREAD LMAO
but those are great songs
>JUST LIKE HEAVEN
I seriously do not understand this in the least
but otherwise it seems fine but to each their own
Dude, it's an awesome cover.
How so? For what purpose?
admittedly its been awhile since I've heard it but come on
They have a discography of over 130 original songs, with at least 60+ of them being great
Yet they play generally the same boring 13 song setlist for a decade now, despite releasing 4 well received new albums since.
Yeah, it's a good cover, but it's unnecessary, same way I feel about Faith No More still playing "Easy" live.
>Faith No More still playing "Easy" live.
at least the two artists from widely differing genres
dinosaur jr and the cure are infinitely closer by comparison i.e. extremely unnecessary
unless its a significantly different interpretation in some way which I don't remember but again its been awhile
for a more down to earth answer, its all about practice. Unfortunately its somewhat common for bands to not even play a single song for the album they're literally on tour for. Eyehategod and Mayhem being two recent notable examples.
They never play Little Fury Things.
literally their best song too
what else would they play
they're a band from the 80s past their prime. no one wants to hear the new shit from bands like that they want the classics.
you think people go see the rolling stones and want to hear whatever shit they cooked up for their new album? no they want fucking gimme shelter
Dinosaur Jr's new shit is actually good though and just as well received as their old shit so it's a little different.
I'm a huge Dino fan boy but this album was honestly kind of boring.
There's accuracy to this but Farm is really good.
agreed but I wouldnt call that a fair analogy
>Dinosaur Jr
>classics
they may have really old stuff but not a single literal classic in the bunch
DUDE SLUDGEFEAST LMAO
You're Living All Over Me is literally a classic
yeah pixies are a better comparison
they play a lot of the old shit and no one really likes the new shit
the brand new song from the upcoming album sounds a lot more promising though
Huh? Every time I've seen them that's been the encore song
Farm is boring dadrock.
