No need for albums, the discography of Beach House
...
Any pop-punk album
...
Not that it's a bad thing
Not at all though?
bullshit
...
I went through a phase of loving this but I have to admit it does mostly sound the same
kek
every AC/DC album post-Back in Black
What?
What genre is this? I keep seeing the cover lately.
...
In the mountain in the cloud
The exception being sleep forever and all your light.
But they're not too far removed from the other tracks either
Wall of sound abrasive progressive brit-pop
sporkcore
>DURNANANA NANANA DURNANANA NANANA DURNANANA DURNANANA DURNANANA NANANANA
it's great though
That's the point
...
When I liked metal, Dragonforce's songs all sounded the same.
And same with Galneryus. Probably most power metal.
Oshin
In the best way possible.
Thick as a brick
beat me to it
>when you sleep
Ok
Music
When You Sleep and Soon don't sound the same to me, honestly
But wait, there is more!
Their live shows are even worse
No idea why people meme this shit as being good
That new shitty king gizzard album. Shit sucks.
All weezer albums
Still genius though. Any country/alt country album pretty much fits the bill too.
To Here Knows When also sticks out.
lol, this must be b8
every song literally sounds unique
anything by ACDC and Chvrches
...
Mac DeMarco got famous writing the same fucking song over and over again.
Isn't this just one piece
its terrible too
lol what the fuck
That's the joke.
that one album when i was in high school
...
>I haven't listened to AnCo and am just assuming things based on criticism from Sup Forums
this guy discography
memey responses but I recently heard these two and in my opinion the songs all do sound the same but in a tasteful way.
Mac Demarco - 2
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - Nonagon Infinity
lol sorry, THIS guy discography
Couldn't be more right, but that album is pure magic desu senpai
I'd say this because it's just a slow progression and it's really one piece broken into three parts. One of my go-to ambient albums.
beach house, nothing, diiv, most of the more meme'd shoegaze revival albums discussed here really.
>an actual redditor
shit, it's like a unicorn
mac demarcos entire discography, the dude just turns the flanger pedal up each album lol.
1. It's doom metal. And the super fucking slow Electric Wizard/Reverend Bizarre/Warning kinda doom. I do normally prefer music with more happening in it and thus more riffy doom, but I can totally see the whole slow, heavy riff repetition=constant depression, nothing changing, life always sucking thing
2. With this album it also really works for particular people because the note choices, while quite similar through the entire album, are also all quite catchy ones, too for a lot of people.
This is pretty true. It's as a whole a re-imagining of delta blues, but definitely carries that idea throughout though I think certain note and rhythm choices might make this not work for this topic (or maybe they might because while they maybe outside typical Delta Blues that still goes on through the entire album.)
julien baker desu
This
I love this album but every song is the same
...
just Vomir in general
I agree with your first point, I'm actually a big fan of Electric Wizard, but I find Warning to be very underwhelming even for slow doom standards. Its attempts to be more melodic take away from the depressing heaviness and the lyrics and vocals just turn me off the album completely.
all his discography sounds the same
youtube.com
YOU TAKE THAT BACK
...
Most of Lana Del Rey's albums
I love the album, it's just that the songs all kind of seem the same to me. idk.
Thick as a Brick
jfc I fucking hate them so much.
Pretty much, but its attempts to be melodic with the vocalist swooning over the stuff also makes it easy listening sad boy music, and thus very popular. Still prefer sludge myself since I like for there to be more riffs and more depressing drug addled bullshit of life.
...
reign in blood
What? You're telling me Teeth like God's Shoeshine sounds like Bankrupt on selling or Styrofoam boots?
com truise
lol, Reign in Blood is the only good album where several songs stick out and they're all pretty good, everything else by Slayer is boring and repetitive
listening to this right now, for the first time in like a decade, and it's pretty much true. Still fun as hell though
this is true but I enjoy the first song so that means I enjoy all the songs
How is this even a post? Anco has a ridiculously varied discog
Progressive House is the worst genre to sit and listen to for obvious reasons
"Progressive Punk"
Pretty much punk music with circus bits, and that's coming from someone who loves this album.
Yes and yes.
...
His entire discography especially 2 and salad days
...
bought that album because I liked the album art
worst use of $12 ever
this is a good thing tho
holy shit this, i tried listening to it a few weeks ago and literally nothing stood out
Holy fuck, do they know more than 3 chords exist
deep frieze
King Gizzard is definitely true, but I disagree with Mac DeMarco's 2.
Shit Luck sounds like Trailer Trash? Gotta be bait
underrated post
How did no one post this yet
IM NOT KNOCKING
This easily
