Can anyone suggest me some albums that sound like Yankee Hotel Foxtrot?

Wilco - Summerteeth
summerteeth, OK Computer
its a pretty unique album IMO
Was going to say besides this lol. But that's a good album.
take a shit in your bathroom. it will sound like YHF
kill yourself
OKC???? I guess there are some similarities in arrangements but YHF sounds much...warmer (human?) to me. Even if some of the themes explored are similar
Filtered
Closest I could think of in terms of sound, instrumentation and general vibe would be Mojave 3 - Excuses For Travellers
You might like this, but it's a stretch
I also recc the movie about Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, really good stuff
Will listen to these. Thanks!
OK you think I care?
>pop country album
>"""""""unique"""""""
U2 - Achtung Baby
Fishmans - Orange
Califone - Quicksand/Cradlesnakes
>responding after being filtered
wew lad
>implying this sounds anything like pop country
or did I just fall for the worst b8 of all time
Have you listened or do you just have a vague idea of what wilco were in the mid 90s?
It's definitely more of a musical growth similarity. Summerteeth was Wilco's OKC, while Yankee Hotel Foxtrot was very Kid A. You could say the same with A Ghost Is Born.
I feel like Menomena are pretty similar if you're looking for that subtlety beautiful atmospheric art rock with layered soundscapes but staying with the indie rock format

Other reccs would be:
Modest Mouse
youtube.com
Okkervil River
youtube.com
Broken Social Scene
youtube.com
The National

Constanza is so overused. Mostly in shitty, unfunny and innacurate bait like this. YHF is dope by the way.
To answer OP's question tho, I would recommend to listen to Jim O'Rourke's "Insignificance", as it features Tweedy and Glenn and was recorded in the same era as YHF. And also I guess you're aware that Jim was basically a Wilco member by that time...
Not modest mouse
Modest Mouse - the Lonesome Crowded West
The Streets - Original Pirate Material
