what I've been spinning lately

How is Oranges & Lemons? Skylarking is basically the only XTC album i've listened to so far.

Listen to Jaco Pastorius s/t

If you like The Chronic you might also like:
>Snoop Dogg - Doggy Style
>Dj Quik - Safe + Sound
>Above the Law - Uncle Sams Curse
>E-40 - In a major way

>How is Oranges & Lemons? Skylarking is basically the only XTC album i've listened to so far.

i like it a lot

Thanks :) I like Doggystyle too. The only rap I can listen is G-funk(and abstract maybe).

Then here have some more:
>Lil 1/2 Dead - Steel on a Mission
>WC and the Maad Circle - Curb Servin
>Bloods & Crips - Bangin On Wax
These are all Westcoast I have given you
There is a lot of Funky albums to pick up in the south and midwest category aswell like:
>MC Breed - Funkafied
>UGK - Ridin Dirty
>ESG - Ocean of Funk (The first song is kind of like and introduction to Chopped N Screwed. If you liked it check out DJ Screw)

(Me)

Thanks, that's beautiful.

Hey here's this

>Julia Holter
check out Julee Cruise - it's a bit more ambient than Julia Holter, but it scratches the same itch for me.
>Joni Mitchell
check out Lucinda Williams. It's closer to country than folk, but the voice she commands is real nice. Try to find some of her slower folk stuff, if you're not huge into the country shit.
Lucinda Williams - Which Will is a great song from her, as it is a great cover of a Nick Drake track.
Also, check out Molly Drake, she is Nick Drake's mom and her stuff is beautiful, but REALLY lo-fi.

>Fjellthronen
check out Fjelltrone - Skogens Ande. It's more really cool dungeon synth shit. Get your Berserk manga out, or DND set and get jamming.
>Filosofem
Try out Botanist - VI Flora
>Lil Ugly Mane
Check out Three 6 Mafia - Mystic Styles. You can also check out other Memphis Rap artists. He draws greatly from them, apart from being in the genre himself.

Gonna post my own and keep making reccs, just to help bump the thread a bit

(Me)
Thanks :)
