Why are there no good right-wing musicians?

Why are there no good right-wing musicians?

Great art comes from creative minds, and conservatives are, well...

...

>french origin politics
fuck off

Lazy libtard can't even finish a sentence

burzum

Ramones is about it.

And Wagner.

Peste Noire, Grimes, most black metal really

Grimes???

Libtard is actually experimenting with language by using an incomplete sentence to make an insult against conservatives

Grimes? Did I miss something or, does this not make sense?

Only one member of the Ramones was conservative.

Trying to sound smart while taking bait wew lad

grimes has always been conservative just look at her tweets

It's the best I got.

Daniel Johnston
Morrissey
Ian Curtis

Crazy
Fag
Hanger-on

Tard
Gay
Dead.

Who else?

you dyslexic nigger? She's libtard as fuck

What about Jason aldean

Josh Homme from what I know is pretty conservative.

A lot of good musos don't talk pahlitics, that's why. Only self-important autofluffers preach their political views in public and outside the context of their work. James Hetfield could be ravenously pro-Trump and Axl Rose could be a HIllary cuntsucker for all I know, but we don't hear about it.

Fock.

Coalesce
Melvins
Smashing Pumpkins

Not anything like Ted Nugent but they definitely do not identify as 'liberals'

Hahaha

I'm thinking it's something to do with liberals being whiny melodramatic faggots who can write songs about how much the world sucks a lot easier.

Led Zeppelin members were pretty conservative

This is a stupid fucking thread, and I'm a staunch leftist.

Axl Rose is your go-to for humble musician?

i didn't say that at all. i was picking at random

Meatloaf.

Having been a musician and now a conservative, the best I can explain is:
Left Brain = Creative
Right Brain = Analytical
Spoiler: Frank Zappa

Johnny Ramone, James Hetfield, Buzz Osborne, Ted Nugent, Varg Vikernes, Dave Mustaine, Elvis, etc.

The list never ends.

yeah frank zappa hated niggers

michale graves

he sounded smart to me. I thought user made a good point.

No, GOOD musicians.

>whiny melodramatic

were you listening to Sean Hannity again? You can't get more whiny and melodramatic than his broadcasts.

Zappa is probably better than your favorite musician, faggot

>good right-wing musicians
I guess the entirety of all country music and black metal doesn't count, right?

This. I'm a leftist but Hommes is indeed a talented right wing musician.

He's libertarian

I've watched quite a few Zappa interviews.

Zappa called himself a "practical conservative".

He said he was pro-business, and wished the Republican Party focused solely on that aspect of their platform. However, he regularly attacked the GOP in his work (and other interviews). He is on the record saying that, in the 1980s at least, he was registered as a Democrat (as a temporary, "lesser of two evils" sort of thing) and, AFAIK, is also on the record as being a fan of Barney Frank. He said that elements of the Libertarian Party platform were appealing, but he detested others (namely, the idea that businesses have a right to practice racial segregation).

In terms of Presidents, he hated Nixon and Reagan (Joe McCarthy and J. Edgar Hoover as well, if we're mentioning "conservative" personalities). He was dismissive of Eisenhower, praised Kennedy, and said that he had started to view Lyndon Johnson in more favorable terms towards the end of his life.

He isn't.
Exactly.

this is a terrible thread

he has a youtube channel too. ThuleanPerpective, guy is based as fuck

I think Buzz Osbourne from the Melvins is a conservative, judging from his interviews.

>Why are there no good right-wing musicians?
?

What's your favorite musician than?

>black metal
>good

>then

Fixed

this thread needs some derailing

check em

We have this shit thread every single day.

Explicitly political music a shit.

Praise be to Him.

because politicizing every thing in your life is fucking gay and there is so much more to write about

...

Dave mustaine is probably a poor example for a good conservative musician, since he is batshit insane

seriously though, frank zappa is probably better than your favourite musician. there's no use denying the musicianship that he and his bands had

>using ellipses is experimenting

If by based you mean batshit crazy, than he is definitely based.

check em

well done

(You)

>since he is batshit insane
Yeah, a batshit insanly good musician.

now you check these

I guess, but also
>obama did shootings to ban guns
>mah gun laws

kinda insane

want some quads?

Oingo Boingo's first album is very overtly conservative

And I'm sure you're one of those "Le country and bluegrass is bad" people, but these musicians are good
>Stanley Brothers
>The Carter Family
>Dock Boggs
>Roscoe Holcomb
>Eck Robertson
>Jimmy Rodgers

Honestly, do you actually think there haven't ever been any hoaxes perpetrated on the U.S. population? Do you know how compartmentalization works or why it was developed as a system often utilized by the government to keep nefarious things secret?

There have been a number of "conspiracies" perpetrated by the U.S. government that were in fact very real.

isn't the whole left brain/right brain thing a load of shit though?

fuck nigger hook me up with that script

I feel like there would be a bunch of libertarian musicians. Music = freedom and all that. Becoming a pop musician sort of requires (in most cases) you to reject societal norms, do something completely different than the rest of your childhood friends and against the whises of your family. Naturally this person isn't going to be your standard neocon. It's gonna be someone that thinks people should do what they want when they want. So libertarian is probably the most conservative you'll get. Artists also "see through" people like Trump or Clinton. Crazy sociopaths and/or traditionalist power-hungry politicians (again artists generally spend their lives rebelling against the old order and societal structure). Hence the Bernie love.

I haven't heard Sean Hannity in a long time. My mom listened to him, not me. I just base my worldview on how I view the world through my own eyes, and I'm conservative. I feel like liberals are more informed about their worldview, as in, they're told what to believe.

oh wow how high school going

...

I'm unironically national socialist secretly and have 50,000 plays on my soundcloud page

This nigga on fucking fire

If you actually believed Bernie's policies would work, you're not a very smart person.

Problem with most "creatives" is they believe the utopia in their minds would actually work in real life. They're hindered by their own imagination.

because a certain (((group))) owns all the record companies

The thing I'm looking forward to is when all the Bernie kids get real jobs and see the chunk the unaccountable/corrupt/wasteful government steals from their checks every week.

When these kids finally swing right it's gonna be a fucking full tilt political bloodbath.

...

not an argument

Because they'd shoot it to shit.
You can't disco in jack boots!
(Plebs will not get the reference and it will go over 99.9% of Sup Forums's head!)

>utopia
Lmao
Have you heard about the Scandinavian countires?

I thought Morrissey liked Jeremy Corbyn?

How many liberals does it take to change a lightbulb?

i wouldn't say he was strictly conservative (he hates the tories, for example), but he does have a thing for nationalism and has heaped praise on nigel farage pretty recently

comedy option: boyd rice

Is this a good joke? I'm thinking

>conservatives: lightbulb doesn't need to be changed
>libertarians: lightbulb will change itself

Can't really think of a good one for liberals. Probably something to do with pandering.

You are a staunch faggot

epic

haha you got me xD xD

john maus

>right-wing marxist

borges was conservative

damn look at charls' pupils, he's rolling

Dave wasn't conservative when he was making good music, so yeah
there's that

Melvins?

not that user, but there are proven differences in how left-leaning and right-leaning people think.

btw, theres been a shitton of Sup Forums related threads lately. please fuck off.

Calling Zappa a right-wing musician is such a cop out
Maybe he was financially on the conservative side, but he was definitely socially liberal. A lot of people who call him right start thinking that he shared the same stupid alt-right mentality as they do, when really he probably would have thought that they were pathetic
