I can't escape this album. send help

She Wanted to Leave is one of the most depressing yet amazing ways to end a concept album

I was addicted to the Mollusk too, it's fantastic. Been addicted to the Pod as well.

Is there one modern rock album that has resisted Low's influence?

same. just picked it up a week ago. didn't know what i was missing.

I put on hospice today while taking a nap, the first songs were very emotional and great, then I started dreaming to the music

I've been listening to the closet mix of this for the past several nights.

...

same bro its amazing

Probably not. God, what an album.

Is there a better set of two consecutive albums in any artist's discography than Station to Station / Low?

been looping it the last 3 or so days, moving on to their other stuff now but this album is great

is it better than teens of denial?
I been listening to that album for a while

>dance jimmy

im doing the best i can there deaner

>that's it

you know I can't really dance like I used to
I mean I try
But I'm an old
old man now

>I
>GOT

>REAAAAL GOOOOOOD FEELIN BOUT OLD JIMMY WILSON

Every song feels like some unprecedented masterpiece - something that just dropped right out of space.

Go home hunter

just about to post this

You will get sick of it, then come back to it again, I guarantee.

I actually haven't heard Teens Of Denial yet, I started with this album a few days ago and now i'm listening to How To Leave Town, I really really like Twin Fantasy though, not sure how it would compare to Teens Of Denial since I haven't heard it but I would definitely give it a listen

This album fucking rules.

fuck that album, listen to Meat is Murder or just kys

The structure makes more sense on the differnet vinyl sides, as it just gets slowly weirder and weirder.

also this

Fuck this user. Listen to Queen is Dead. Nothing else they've ever done has been as good.

I'll probably get called a pleb but this honestly gets better with every listen.

HAHAHA YOU FUCKIN KNOW THIS GUY!!! WHAT A RIOT!!!!

Put this on next time you get sad someone leaves you.

found a promo copy of this in a record store in late 2009. rediscovered it last week. been returning to it over and over.

I don't even feel like a 13 year old girl. i'm like 30 and married...

I like teens of denial more than twin so far
but I havent gotten past the 3rd song yet

Please help me, it's destroying my hearing

I've listened to this at least once a day for the past year, I think this is my favorite album of all time

if you close

the door

the night could last

forever

let the sun

shine out

and say hello

to never

btw wats the closet mix can u post htat

you're an unhappy man, aren't you.

have you been hurt?

>you're an unhappy man, aren't you.
I have depression and social anxiety and I want to die, so yea

>have you been hurt?
not really, no

it gets better. it really does.

I was in your place like 10 years ago, save I had no Sup Forums. spiderland was a feels album for me too.
what happened was i forced a change. went out, and fucked some broads.
go get yourself hurt. then lionel richie can be your comfort.

same here bro. good shit

guess i'm kms because i think this is their best (either that or the s/t)

Don't worry user I agree with you (s/t is their worst though)

maybe i'm a lil bias because it was the first album i listened to from them, but i'm still floored by hatful of hallow. why do you think their s/t is their worst though?

All of these

The production. All the songs on s/t that were rerecorded for Hatful are infinitely better, I can barely listen to s/t. Worth noting that s/t was the last record I listened to from them.

that's understandable. i think the rerecordings make for HoH were more high energy but i still really like the originals from the s/t. i listened HoH > s/t > the rest so maybe i'm bias but i still dig the rest of their discography.

go listened to their peel sessions, actual crazy stuff

Love coming back to it, and sometimes forgetting I have the album on as the first track slowly creeps up on you.

First time I left it on in the car I thought I was hearing whispering voices in my head after several minutes in.

After that, it just gets so comfy.

It's an alternate mix Lou Reed did of the album and is supposedly how Lou intended it to be released. It's included in the Velvet Underground box set, Peel Slowly and See.

I love Pink Flag, but I find the tracks on Chairs Missing to be weirdly hit or miss for me. It's odd, because I usually much prefer a more experimental punk sound.

I can't stop listening to this.
