I use clementine but vlc works fine too. I like the clementine catalog system a lot and it's better for playlists if you're into playlists.

I have a fairly high end gaming rig, and use my macbook (2015) for work and various bits that I don't want to be stoic for.
I also use itunes. why wouldn't you?
mpd + ncmpcpp. This way you can even lounge around and control it with a mobile mpd client too.
I think they are perfectly capable of making a working application. It's obvious that they write substandard shit for windows and linux to try and prove osx's "superiority".
The only reason to use Windows is muh games.
From technical, aesthetic and security standpoints Windows is inferior to both Linux and OSX, and many of the features of its design (like the registry) are just retarded.
