His basement 4 track demos

unfunny

Depends, do you like solo instruments, chamber orchestra, full blown masses or passions, or more complex organ fugues etc?

I would start with art of fugue

the latter

Classical fags have no humour

Look at Mister Jokeman over here! Mister king of comedy? I bet you seen a few good jokes in your lifetime, huh? Fucking idiot. Don't come here and post your lazy one word "critiques" like you own the place. "unfunny" you stupid fuck did you think this was a good retort "unfunny" son of a bitch im not angry but I would kick my cat into the wall if it came into the room right now. anyway thats all i have to say go fuck yourself

>humour

Here's some of my favorite of his organ works then:

Correction: they have a more advanced sense of humor than you.

Can I get a taste of this "more advanced sense of humor"

oh, thanks. can you also recommend the former also?

Why the hell are there americans other than me up at this time?

One work of his I've been enjoying a lot is well tempered clavier on piano:

The solo violin partitas and sonatas are exceptional too, raw but powerful:

No Goldberg? No Toccata and Fugue?

Q: What's the difference between a prostitute and an onion?

A: No one cries when you cut up a prostitute.

>Toccata and Fugue?
part of the organ works.
Goldberg variations didn't quite make it.

...

I was just listening to wachet auf (not joking-thats the pieces name) in my car. We sang it in hs chorus and is fucking retardedly awesome

Ah. Looks like a good collection of stuff anyway.
I suppose you could say this with most prolific artists when making something like this but you could well add another row to this.

Damn...

Problem with bach is pretty much everything he did is gold. Very little filler. I tried to include large collections of lots of his works like the cantatas (30 CDs or something), but the English and French suites could easily be swapped out, they're of lesser importance, I just like them so... yeah.

Here's his best cantata

>30 CDs or something
Damn, that's a lot of music. I'm kinda new to classical but I'm kind of wary of big cycles like that. I've been trying to look around for stuff individually cause I figure that's a better way of finding better performances of specific pieces.
Do you think I'm wasting my time doing that?

his best song

At the beginning like you would with any other artist.

yeah dont worry too much about the massive cycles. desu I haven't even listened to every Bach cantata, and may never. They were just his weekly masses he produced for his church, Great writing and very consistent, but you dont have to sit through every one to appreciate Bach.

This is the only serious answer. The Jordi Savall renditions are the best ones out there.

Listen to the B Minor Partita. Personal favourite of mine.

Start at the back... Sihdehh #bachjokes

His Coffin
