Why did you post this again?

Queen II was a prog album though

>pierce the veil are STILL listed as a prog rock band

What would YOU fucking call it?

Arena rock

Octave-core

Pop :^)

Regressive rock

The same thing I call all music before 2013: Proto Young Thug

Tbh, 2013 stuff is outdated

pre-avant rockcore

Proto-crunk-post-folk fusion

neo-psych crunkwave

tea and biscuits aids faggy rock tunes

Persian pre-britpop

Shit

Finally the right answer.

But early Queen was absolutely prog rock.

serious pipes

Ocean grunge revival

Powerviolence

Western sans country

So that thing about summer is true...

What thing about summer? I just like music.

>instead of proving them wrong I'll just call them reddit or summerfag

Oh look, summer!

Oh look, an idiot.

>don't talk about GOOD music

Nordic funk

You can't talk about good music on this board, only essential pretentious-core.

Have you listened to one of their songs?
Theyre no textbook prog but they surely have something going.

Why can't you talk about Queen then?

Technically correct.

I'd call them post hardcore honey.

Meme rock isn't a real genre

The Prophet's Song is absolutely prog though

falsetto fag stadium core

Queen are considered a terrible band by most of Sup Forums, and it's not because muh contrarianism or because they're too popular, because The Beatles are highly praised here.

Queen were camp stadium rock with cheesy guitar wankery and solos, with no good albums and just a collection of listenable singles. They're also leading generation the band and young kids always seem to think Bohemian Rhapsody is the best song ever. On a sidenote their image was terrible, they were no better than any of the terrible hair metal acts of the 80s.

*lewronggeneration the band
Bloody autocorrect

pop-rock?

So when do you go back to class?

>Queen's earliest works were influenced by progressive rock, hard rock and heavy metal, but the band gradually ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works by incorporating further styles, such as arena rock and pop rock, into their music.

How is this statement untrue?

>the Beatles are highly praised here
Eh. There's still that Scruffy copypasta.

>ITT: edgy teens
Yes, Queen is overplayed dadrock.
Yes, Queen is fantastic nevertheless.

itt: people who have never listened to Queen beyond the greatest hit compilation and are offended by how overplayed and overpraised it is by mindless children who are just starting to develope their musical tastes
