Amazing album

amazing album

na

Yeah it is

lol no

Very good

turn that 9 upside down it's a 6 now

it really is very good

dubs confirm AOTY

>views got a 6
>blonde got a 9
pottery

Its good, but this is better imo

always thought channel orange was overrated. only liked super rich kids & pink matter. wasn't expected to be blown away by this one but damn, it's good.

i was so hype for the 9 minute track only to find out most of it was bs

5/10

Very good, I keep coming back to listen to Nikes, Solo and Self Control.

It's good but I thought Rushes/Rushes Too from Endless were the best songs of the bunch.

>mfw realize this album is better than channel orange

i dont understand it, i found it extremely boring and to me i would give it a 3/10 but why the fuck does everyone love this so much?

How many times have you listened to it? I thought it was boring on my first listen.

.cont i also would give CO a 9/10 because that was very good but this idk i dont get it

I only liked Channel Orange for the smooth vocal melodies...what am I in for?

4

not many smooth vocal melodies alot of crooning over what sounds like unfinished instrumentals most of the time

oh. then i guess it's gg, or maybe it will take longer for you to like it.

9.75/10 album

stay mad fags

Hated this guy before, and couldn't listen past Nikes. But now it's growing on me, very nice album.

holy fuck...

unfinished =/= stripped down/minimal

Yeah it's great. Can someone explain the cover art to me though? I'm not sure how to interpret this.

Was this an under rated album? barely heard anyone talk about it but its amazing

Hitori no otoko takusan kawaī on'nanoko dareka no koto o dare mo shibare wa shinai tanin no kokoro mā, nomitainara o sake demo nomou (fu ~o) kanojo ga i tari, kareshi ga i tari ki no atchau ningen 2-ri shōganai otoko-tachi to on'na-tachi saru mono owazu kuru mono erabu soredake no hanashi imashikanai jikan daiji ni shina nan oku man-ri mo ī hitonara iru yo ano ko ga mata moderu no ko ni shitto demo sukinara suki murinara muridashi tsugi kara tsugini (tsugini)-rui ga tomo o yonde kureru itsumo (rui ga tomo o yobu) tamani wa hanarete miru no mo hitsuyō (hitsuyō… hitsuyō…) jiyū ni suru marude parisuhiruton (parisuhiruton)

It's pretty good man. It kinda flew under the radar.

I listen to this alot too its really cute desu

I thought that I was dreaming when you said you loved meee

Those are definitely good but not ivy, pink+white, white Ferrari, seigfried, or godspeed?? Those are all pretty great too

My aoty easy

Ivy and seigfried were written in 2013. Wonder how much was done that long ago.

Is there even ONE banger on Blonde?

On God you should match this it's that KO

This 2bh

Guess not, guess it's a shit album with no bangers. Too bad.

>6 years delayed
>>No Tyler, the Creator feature
>>> Trash/10 album

>2 years
>Produced two of the songs and gets a mention in the last song

White Ferrari is the most Brian Wilson-esque track in contemporary pop

This is actually my favorite part in Nikes

It's decent

Solo best song on album desu

It still amazes me that we live in a world where Frank Ocean featuring Kohh is a thing that happened unironically.

Very solid album, still bump the whole thing but I don't think it's better than blonde

Its wierd, ive never had an album be iffy to me the first listen and then just blossom into whats probably gonna be my aoty

how is it a shit album like blond has a higher rating than chvrches debut which is actually fucking good?

why is pink+white so goat bros

It's a masterpiece.
AOTY.
Stay mad, Sup Forums.

because churches are fucking bad you delusional wanker

their second album blew the first out of the water imo

Which version of Nikes is the true one? I'm so confused

>No Tyler, the Creator feature
so you're saying it's flawless?

I know I'm the minority but I enjoy this album way more than CO. Might be just because I was not hyped before the release

It's a pretty hypnotising album. Channel Orange is still amazing obviously, but it's too different too compare the two.

this

>I'm sure we're tall in another dimension.
>you say we're small and not worth the mention.

>We're not in love, but I'll make love to you.
>I'm not him, but I mean something to you.

I wasn't ready for this level of heartbreak.

um no.

>9.0
>good

ummm... try again sweetie. I'm not THAT thirsty.

eh, chance killed this year. Frankie can stick to the channel orange hype.

youre a meme harry

Coloring Book sucked shit though, even for Chance the Rapper

>Meme the Rapper begin better than anyone at all
>being better than literally the only worthwhile male R&B artist
>being this fucking pleb

I want memerap lovers to leave.

Coloring book is the first Chance project with songs that I actually can't stand.

underrated af

It's nice Noname finally gave us a full length. It's an instant mood lifter I love it.

Is there a full scan of the book yet?

Oh and this album is getting harder to listen to, I'm at the point where I focus more on the lyrics and by the time White Ferrari and Siegfried especially come on it's overwhelming.

3b85me

How the fuck did this not beat Pablo or Coloring Book? I consider myself a fan of Chance, but Coloring book was so spotty I can't sit through it. I still bump Pablo because I'm just a Kanye stan, but Blonde is far more consistent in tone AND themes. That's where a lot of releases fell off this year. The only other one to nail it recently was Noname.

>YOU CUT YOUR HAIR BUT YOU USED TO LIVE A BLONDED LIFE

what did he mean by this?

>unironically listening to gay music

That's how you get AIDS

>churches
>actually good

Kek

He says blinded life. The pun is obvious.

You're basing your opinion/life on the Pitchfork score. Its like common sense for your and consensus.

"public perception", no more like Pitchfork perception. Its what rules.

The most trusted voice in music.

2016 has been a pretty shit year but this collab healed some wounds. Couple that with Sampha showing up on Endless...

nice bait

I'm not basing my opinion on the Pitchfork score, I clearly said I disagreed with it. I haven't really seen anyone else lauding Chance's album in most musical discussions and I'm wondering what Pitchfork saw in it that it surpassed TLOP and Blonde

>gonna see what the hype is about
>starts with some annoying vocal effect
>dropped

The cheeky changes and transitions are what really make this album for me

>string portion going into "this is not my life, it's just a fond farewell to a friend"
>I care for you still and I will ~*~*FOREVER*~*~
>theremin solo on skyline to
>reverberated vocal solo on self control
>guitar breakdown into part 2 of Nights
10/10 moments

>André on Solo (Reprise)
Absolutely fantastic

One of the few albums where I liked this skits

I rarely get emotional with music but this album does it for me for some reason...

Coloring Book is literally Emperor's Clothing: The Album

Fucking sucked

Funny you say that with the Beatles reference in the melody

Anyone have a link to the full version of Nikes??

I loved the interview at the end of futura free

I had a hard time understanding what was going on. Who was interviewing who?

>bon iver on white ferrari
>string section on seigfreid

I just assumed the interviewer was Frank
The interviewed were his little brother and sage elsesser according to genius
I love how honest and personal it felt, it for perfectly with futura free's theme and closed out the album beautifully

I don't think it's Bon Iver. It's just Frank singing a beautiful falsetto.

Does anybody have a link for "Endless"? I am still dying to hear it.

How is Chance memerap? Genuine question.

How do you even tag this piece of shit?

Why is Kendrick Lamar listed as a featured artist but you can't even hear him. Or something.

He was the one saying "Smoke!" "Haze!"

>I'll do anything for you
>(In the dark)

I love that so much.

you and me both user

I don't care how good it is, that nigga like dick. I refuse to listen.
