How is this even considered a good album? Almost half of the tracks are throwaway filler, and the rest isn't great either. Wouldn't It Be Nice and God Only Knows are great but the rest is decent at best.

this song doesn't feel like it fits in with the rest of the album tbqh
instrumentally it sounds a bit off, and lyrically it's not as much of a romantic view
I think that if you don't actually read much into the lyrics it still sounds as poppy as the rest of the album for the most part, especially the chorus. I always seem to have it stuck in my head more than any other song on Pet Sounds

i'm not sure how to describe what sounds different about it to me, i think the lead instrument is an organ of some kind, unlike the other songs
it's kinda more psychedelic than the rest, sometimes i feel like it sounds more like soul, but it doesn't feel of a piece with the rest of the album to me
