>poortuguese vicariously living off the careers of poortuguese footballers

he is moving to a massive club and he will rot in the bench. why are you excited, you dumb fishnigger.

>€80m

That is fucking ridiculous.

>what is money laundering

you naive crumpetnigger.

literally who?

>buyern

OUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

DELUSION UNITED ONCE AGAIN

It's 35M€ with 10M€ more in objectives

ABU'S ALWAYS WIN

And now Hummels confirmed, they're going all out

>los trio de merde

35M + 45M on objectives

how much for getting off the bench and into the first team?

Well, objectives are valid until 2021 so even if he doesn't play that much soon he'll have the time.

The portuguese league is unironically the most overrated league in the world. Not a smart idea to pay potentially 80m bucks for any player from it.

This will likely become Buyern's worst transfer ever.

>implying he won't be a starter within a month

>The portuguese league is unironically the most overrated league in the world
that's not bpl

>35M + 45M on objectives
Source? Every report I've seen is citing 35+10

It's actually underrated. That's why people who don't rate it say it's overrated when somebody else does. (Many players are made for one team though)

Benfica's offical report

leave the midfield to the white boys, need a brain to compete

It's probably down to people not actually believing you can actually have 45M sitting on objectives and thus assuming 45M is the total amount.

No league where Jackson Martínez, Danilo and Jonas look good, and Hulk looked like a god, can be worth anything whatsoever.

3 half-decent teams (not even that good tbqh), 17 absolutely awful 2nd-tier teams.

Add that to Gestifute/Jorge Mendes self-hype and the result is, in fact, the most overrated league in the world.

You wat. Its underrated as fuck.

Stfu monkey.
Our 3 top teams are pretty damn good.
Even Braga is going strong this year.

how is renato supposed to motivate himself now?
he's worth millions, probably gets 2mil+ a year, and he's only 18 years old.

name me ONE big money teenager that went on to be a success

is sanches good?
I heared Mats Hummels is also going to Bayern. Our League will be a meme now. Maybe red Bull Leipzis will change it.

Nah.

meme league, about 8th best in the world at most

I look forward to Renato running like a headless chicken all game as is usual, establishing himself as an 80m flop, embarassing moortuguese football once again and making everyone question big money transfer from there until the end of time.

"18" years old

>name me ONE big money teenager that went on to be a success
Ronaldo was like €17m, wasn't he?

Pogba

He's 35 this sunday.

13 i think. i guess that was big at the time

free

>name me ONE big money teenager that went on to be a success

>Neymar
>Martial
>CR7 (15m was a record for a teenager back then)
>Rooney
>Ramos

Don't forget Bryan Ruiz, a relegation tier player in England moves to Portugal and nearly takes Sporting Lisbon to the title as their star player.

The pork n cheese league is a bit shit.

Ronaldo
Sergio Agüero
Neymar

>aguero

...

Fuck, ignore me.

Thought you meant the transfer to Man City.

How can a literally unknown league be overrated?
No one other than very hardcore underground hipster football fans and portuguese (and colonial african) people watch our league. And they only watch Benfica, Porto and Sporting.

That same Bryan Ruiz who's about to cost Sporting a champion title?
The best player on Sporting is João Mário, academy product.

Memes aside, he's been actually playing great thanks to their manager.
Honestly, it's been a bit of a surprise how well he's been playing, he just didn't adapt to England and it's meme football.

No, he was too nonchalant, had talent but wasn't given the space and had the ball took off him everytime.

Portuguese football probably suits him because you get 10 yards of space every time you're on the ball

>Portuguese football probably suits him because you get 10 yards of space every time you're on the ball
Oh god. You haven't seen portuguese football clearly.

>mfw the Portuniggers misread the contract and got jewed out of 35M

2 fucking ligue players carried Leicester to the title, one of them being given the MVP award.

*ligue 2

> That same Bryan Ruiz who's about to cost Sporting a champion title?
This is a post of someone who clearly knows close to nothing about football.

Do you even have any idea how many points he has given to Sporting in the other 30 games?
And you have the nerve to say to say he's the one to blame for a title because he missed a clear chance?
Alvalade's pitch has more blame than him on the title.

I honestly hope he stays in Sporting for a few years.

How to spot someone who's never seen a Primeira Liga game.

...

Who is he

I'm pretty mad desu. We will probably end up paying 80 million pounds for John Stones or some other overrated English piece of shit. We haven't gotten the better end of a deal on a transfer since Evra and Vidic.

>We haven't gotten the better end of a deal on a transfer since Evra and Vidic.
De Gea
Smalling
Chicharito
Blind

Same lad

Fuming right now desu, I didn't really want to pay £60m though. Imagine a fosu mensah-rooney-sanches mid.

A prospect who's played 5 games, Rooney, and a guy from the Portuguese league you hadn't heard of until he was linked with Man U. Scary.

W-well, I never rated him anyway.

Premier League teams will ALWAYS pay insane sums for transfers since every seller knows how deep their coffers are. United is in an even worse position since they are one of the world's richest clubs and their books are public since they're a publicly traded company.

That being said, I wouldn't say Martial was a bad deal out of the ones made in the past 3 years. It could be better of course, but saying that Vidic and Evra are the last 2 good transfers is false

TFM has proved himself in numerous big games, rooney is looking good in his new position and benfica without sanches may not be in contention for the league this year

Thank you Orelhas! What a fucking deal!

every time fosumensah has been subbed out, united concedes

dude's gonna be good

>any of those except de Gay
way to prove his point

you know nothing lad, stop pretending

>bucks

FOY

Spicarito is crushing it for Lelkusen,
Blind is a garbage fire

What does Chicharito moving from Mexico to United have anything to do with Leverkusen? The point was that United hadn't made a signing that they benefited more from. He was like £6m and scored lots of important goals in his first season, then sold him for a profit.

Blind is LVGs best signing, he's an intelligent player who's good on the ball. Only like £12m and one of Uniteds best players.

Now again, stop pretending. You know nothing.

In 2 years to Besiktas, Zenit or Dimano Kiev for 10M

I thought you referred to his move from United to Leverkusen, my bad.

Blind is still dogshit amd both cost the Dutch the EC and United a better season. You will see in time.

Blind is actually a very good player due to his intelligence. He's not a central defender but the way he played in that position this season was very good. Look at what he did with Lukaku, a player that's taller, stronger and faster than Blind. Sure, Everton is shit but if Blind was a bad player, Lukaku would have had at least 3 or 4 clear chances on goal instead of 0.

Blind is not the reason NL missed the EC, it's the Dutch federation and its miopic view. Van Gaal was disliked because he did what he thought was right, and that was discarding the traditional 4-3-3 in favour of a more defensive approach since he realized that NL doesn't have the players to make the regular system work. NL also is in a crisis of talented players, there's nobody to replace Robben, Sneijder, Van Persie and van der Vaart up front, with Memphis being the only talented young player [who is far from being on the level of those mentioned above]. After Van Gaal left Hiddink and Blind Sr. were yes-men, doing the federation's bidding instead of doing what's right for the team. Daley Blind is far from being responsible for the mess that the Dutch football finds itself into right now.

>I'll pick out one good game and ignore the two dozen times he played sub par
stopped reading there

He played really well throughout the season considering he's not a central defender. He's been one of United's best player this season, despite his lack of speed that indeed hinders him. He's also a very good passer, especially mid to long passes that he manages to pull off, which makes a good combo when paired up with Smalling who is closer to a traditional defender than Blind plays as.

Granted, Smalling is a better defender than Blind and nobody's doubting it. But having a solid player that can fill CD, LB and CM duties like Blind can is a great asset for any team, and he was only 25M Euros. Rojo is making way way more mistakes than Blind in defense and yet Blind is "dogshit".

What the fuck I don't want that nigger here

The kid is good, but i don't know if he is 35M€ good. For that money i would rather get João Mário

i've been watching football for nearly 20 years and this is the best deal i've EVER SEEN(for benfica ofc) renato is the most average piece of shit you can find and they fucking sold him for that much holy shit he played like half a season had 1 or 2 decent games and has been falling ever since i don't know how they managed to fool everyone he was good you just have to watch the games he played to see he is nothing special and even my father who is a die hard benfica fan agrees with me

>buying wacka flocka flame in 2016

cmon senpaitachi

How do Portuguese clubs manage to make such good sales? In the past 15 years Porto and Benfica made a shitload of money by selling players for really good prices, how can they keep doing it?

>martial

really good scouts

which league is better, brazillian or portuguese?

they can sign hues with no competition, no rules against it like over here, so always get the future GOATs for cheap from broke hue teams

also the few good players completely dominate the rest of the shit league so they look amazing by comparison so that drives the price up

Ronaldo was already a wc winner and one of the best players in the world when he was 18, or are you talking about cr7?

Can you say Renato dominated a majority of the league?

The times I've seen him play, he can be so lazy off the ball it's baffling. Decent interceptor at times and stong, but Hector Herrera could've easily gone there for that money, let alone J.Mario.

well with him the buy is more about potential than anything. if he was 30 i doubt anyone would even know who he was outside of portugal

>tons of money

wew

The percentage of the player's rights actually owned by the club can be as low as 33% sometimes.
It's all 3rd party fuckery.

you have a point, he might well learn a lot at Bayern. The way that nigger carried himself about in portugal made me fume at times but in big games he usually pulled his weight just enough.

as a united fan, I'm just crossing my fingers for Mario, Herrera or Danilo Pereira.

wanna get your oppinion on this as well senpai, what you think of Gomes' progression? On the fence about him but haven't watched him for a while

Hector Herrera would cost at least an additional £10 million to fix his face through surgery for public consumption

Well memed, Seamus McPatrick
