My favourite Michael Jackson song is actually "Get On The Floor". It's not because one song is better produced, has more technique going into its making or even has better lyrics that it makes it the best.

Like it or not, Billie Jean is objectively MJs best song. It's one of if not his most popular songs, it's actually one of the most popular songs period. Thriller wouldn't have been as good without it, it's been praised by a shitload of people in and out of the industry and it helped popularise the moonwalk which is probably the dance move MJ is best known for.

In terms of numbers, popularity and influence, Billie Jean fucks every other songs he's ever made.
