I am thinkingof buying my first bc album and make an account.
How is the bc mobile app?

no it sucks because its just amateur piano playing drenched in thousands of shitty reverb plugins

I may agree with your statement of my music being amateurish but

shows how much you actually care to say something meaningful

how about i trace your ip and knock you on your ass you little gay ass

Can we please have at least ONE Bandcamp thread without you people starting a fucking drama? It only makes matters worse

please keep bumping the thread

oh I'm so scared right now plante. will help you a bit - I'm in Ohio

Are you kidding? This is the best shit that can happen in these threads. Way better than the typical "recc :^)"-circlejerk.

Man, I remember when Bandcamp threads were about people actually giving a damn about leaving feedback and sharing music.

Unfortunately over the weeks, it looks like its just become a graveyard of just posting links and constant shit stirring by autists. What a fucking shame, probably not going to bother with posting my stuff again until people sort their shit out and actually bother to talk about music for once....

shut the fuck up

Actually somewhat agree. But I would prefer conversations about music (like this guy: ) than this shite. But I may be a minority in this way of thinking.

laurelave.bandcamp.com/releases

>Emo, Lofi, Garage, Punk

I'm going to post this here and leave because the troll from yesterday seems to still find it funny to piss on other people for making art.

Of course real conversation would be way better. But it's a fucking pain in the ass listening to an whole album, writing a real critique, posting it and getting no response because the fucker already left the thread. And most people coming here just post the link to their album and leave anyways.

Yeah. It's nice to have a flare up every once in a while, makes for some good laughs. There was one guy who blew his lid by posting vocaroo links instead of typing. Best laugh I've had on Sup Forums.

>electronic, idm, ambient, downtempo, experimental, psych

Oh I get what you're saying. I tend to leave some critique from time to time and I can relate to this feeling. It feels like nobody care anymore, you know? It's sad to see that happening, especially bearing in mind that there are so many people with really nice music and their input would give something nice to each and every one of us.

Oh, really? Probably missed that one. But I still see it as a bad thing

oh, plante, where are you?

blackblight.bandcamp.com/music

I couldn't recommend this more if you like weird/ambient/chill/noisewall/sleep

yes you have the ability to look at my public facebook profile pictures

you have traced me

Shut up already

who were talking about tracing plante? i did not. but you did. and i'm still waiting for you fishface

Exactly. It's a shame that bandcamp-threads usually are complete shillfests but there is not much you could do about that.

Nick, I don't know what's your problem with me. Can you actually say what's your beef? Or are you really want to get banned again?
This is toxic as all hell and I really don't wish you any bad but, really, being a one trick pony, doing the same stuff all over again just doesn't look well. To anybody. Like I've said, I have no problem with you what so ever. Just get along with your life. I don't know, find somebody to play vidia with you or something. Music is subjective and I can understand that you might not like mine. I don't like what you're doing on your Bandcamp page. So what? What's the big hush then?
I still believe I can actually talk to you, normally, without you throwing "shits" and "fucks" in this childish matter. We both think you can be better than that. Really Nick, think about it man.

It's either that or this drama thing. It would be actually nice to do some sort of sub-post for Sup Forums musicians with actual feedback and conversation but in a different format (i.e. throwing one track instead of a whole thing) and maybe with something more than just Bandcamp. Just a thought

Okay fuck it I'm not going to let the hate fuck me up. Here we go
5/10 middle of the road electronic music, would maybe play this between sets at a show but not instrumentally interesting enough to make me want to listen to it without vocals.
spooky/10 nice halloween music buddy really spooked me there
8/10 this is a bandcamp thread but I really enjoyed the instrumental and the vocals had a good Morrisey/Robert Smith vibe.
4/10
Really dated vocal and lyrical style. Also the instrumental sounds like it's from the early 2000's. Sounds too edgy without actually being emotionally intense.
8/10
What can I say I love math rock and this is done really well. Vocal style reminds me a lot of the front bottoms but the cello is a good addition. Wish you would bring those classical instruments to the front of the mix in future recordings.
5/10
Once again the instrumental is not interesting enough to merit literally no lyrical content. Come on dude, do you seriously not have any thoughts that are interesting enough at least speak into a microphone?
I would have said it nicer but the trolls are right, this is boring and seems like it took minimal effort to write and record.
10/10
I have a teen suicide cover on my demo how could I not like every fuzzy bit of this track.

FROM

nobody uses the app?

>minimal effort to write and record
Would disagree with you on that one. I was working on this thing for almost ten months, almost on a day-to-day basis. Just because something sounds minimal doesn't really necessary mean that there was just a one-day free-for-all. But if you find it that way it's totally fine. And thanks for trying it out anyway.
I'm not a big fan of emo or that alternative feel in rock so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I think mix is a bit too loud in places and on the second track vocals are sometimes getting too much in front of the guitars. But I am aware that it's a demo so it is understood. To the overall songwriting and stuff - it sounds typical to me personally. I'm trying to find this thing which would somewhat distinguish you from other bands and I'm yet to find one. But I can see how somebody can be entertained by this and I wish I could be too. I just don't listen to that type of music often so it was always been a hit or miss for me.

Im surprised you didnt like i see angels more. It sounds like really solid post-britpop.

I guess i dont rly like teen suicide tho, so there might just be a difference in taste.

you mean your city in shit hampshire? bitch please

Fuck off, you insufferable moron.
You are a stain on these threads and a deterrent for a lot of talent which affects both fans and artists.
I hope you are proud of your destruction.

One inhabitant of New Hampshire doesn't reflect the whole state, it's actually pretty cool up there.

This thread got me like

Whatsup with the Nick Plante hate? His band is actually mad chill if you give it a listen.

>His band
You mean his "rap" "collective"?

No, I mean his band.

imladyboy.bandcamp.com/album/photony-single

What rap collective?

The Lattace Collective

p cool. A little "jammy" for my tastes but I respect how well done it is. a note, your bandcamp/twitter link to the wrong facebook page.

ok the falsetto vocals just kicked in on obsessed, and I take back the jammy comment. This is dope af

Description:
"Welcome to Hotel Songs. Please, enjoy your stay. I have been delivered to relay information and guidelines pertaining to your album listening experience. Hotel Songs is not to be listened to loudly, or on headphones. It is instead recommended that you find a small, clean, and well lit room in which to take residence, and a set of speakers through which to play your copy of Hotel Songs. Enjoy the album at low volumes, and let your mind wander. Are you ready? Well then, let us commence Hotel Songs.

I'll see you three nights from now."
- Eric Taxxon

As we stumble into the charade of luxury that often comes with a hotel, we often find ourselves resting well in an odd state of ambiguity and vagueness. In his second effort for Jacob And Friends, Eric Taxxon brings an album that displays that faux luxury that often we absolve ourselves into, all viewed through a lens of lush and repetitive minimal techno, intending on delivering a cozy experience to the listener.

Now available for stream and download!

Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Eric some love. Thank You. :)

Will still be accepting submissions for the label.
