I really don't understand how anyone could prefer it. The pacing of the original was pretty much perfect, and the 50 minutes of useless footage completely fucks it. That stuff was obviously cut out for a reason.

you are what's wrong with Sup Forums

Daydream Nation
Suspiria

not to mention it was '''stylistically designed''' to delve deeper and deeper into insanity which is completely wrecked by the french scene. which is a shit scene on its own considering it's 100% dialogue driven and contains the cringiest and the most over the head simple lines pandering to absolute plebs.

what was in it besides the french scence? i forgot.

at what point am i expected to have a wank if theres no french bit?

My nigga

There's a fairly long scene where Willard and the boat crew give away some of their extra fuel in exchange for a fuck session with the playboy bunnies. Completely useless and serves nothing to the plot.

There's also another one with Kurtz in broad daylight reading the newspaper to willard while he's in some kind of storage container. Again, doesn't really serve any purpose.
