Everything annoys me

kek

...

>band takes 6+ years to release a new album
>it's fucking shit

Audio being hard panned to the left or right

I have a hard time listening to stuff from the 60s because of this

>what is mono

an infection with the Epstein-Barr virus

>Space Oddity
Not every album has it

most albums up until like 1968 do

>band takes S I X T E E N years to release an album
>it's not a 10/10

>band re-records an older album
Other than because they can't get the rights to re-release it or they've lost the master tapes, why the fuck would anyone do this?

Guitar Hero and Rock Band

>band takes 12 years to release an album
>it's 30 minutes long and isn't even good

>double lp
>not a gatefold

I also don't like when there's no lyrics sheet

>album has one song that is MUCH longer than the rest of the album
>it's the worst song on the album

I'd listen to Anathema's Serenades more but fuck Dreaming: The Romance. It's like wasting your life away to mundane keyboards for 23 agonizing minutes.

>complaining about a punk album being 30 mins long

AMSP was only released 5 years after TKOL though, user.

FUCKING THIS

Bon Iver

>be in a band and take x years to release an album
>fans think you're spending the whole time making it
>OP goes to save an image and it's a thumbnail

AMSP is good, though.

I was talking about Random Access Memories which took like 8 years or smth

selena gomez lupus diagnosis megadeth

how is there not a thread about this?

here is where we'll have the megathread. let's talk about how this makes us feel and talk about the best sgomez songs

rollingstone.com/music/news/selena-gomez-taking-career-hiatus-after-lupus-diagnosis-w437192

Examples?

It's very common for metal bands in particular.
This last has some examples:
rateyourmusic.com/list/Verminous/re_recorded__re_arranged__re_worked_albums/

>band takes 3+ years to release an album
>it's 70 minutes long
>half of it is filler garbage
>could have just released a great 35 minute album instead

What other bands besides Living Colour and Motorhead did this?

Don't you dare talk to me or my AOTY ever again.

the most underrated post in the history of this board

This is why I can't listen to The Age of Adz

good shit user

i thought that was because of the kaka in your kakabutt.

you fucking poopy puffer

You know OP it's not easy to write and be creative when you're constantly touring and promoting and getting exhausted. This why most 2nd albums are absolute schidt. Some people are professional creative workaholics but most people are pretty lax and just can't do good work when they're busy.

a great japanese post-rock band

?

>band releases album every seven years
>it's great but have to wait another seven years

Death Magnetic by Metallica. Helmet rerecorded Unsung for Guitar Hero

>musicians are humans
No

quality over quantity m8

Can anyone think of an album released a long time after the previous album that was actually good?

Black Tie White Noise was a significant improvement from Never Let Me Down

that album was praised on this board and it sucked my log of shit

>Artists sophomore album is all about dealing with the struggles of fame

The Avalanches' one
The D'angelo one

>minute long skit intros aren't a seperate track from the actual song

I hate those.

Hallelujah! Don't bend ascend

>putting my legos in the plastic bag after playing
>suddenly, the plastic bag stretches and breaks at the bottom because of too many legos

Celtic Frost - Monotheist

only the poor ones are user, only the poor ones

Ys/Have One On Me/Divers
Sure, they are progressively worse, but none of them are bad
Also every Karnivool album

i get like this with baggies of my own kaka logs

>all of the numales and basic girls who like Drake
>people who like what i don't like

Shaking the Habitual
