gooood shit bois

I've been on Sup Forums for years and this is still my favorite album ever.

It sounds stupid, mostly because it is, but ITAOTS saved my life. I spent so much time being a cynical, smug, asshole to everyone I knew, and hated every moment of my existence, and everyone hated me in turn (that is to say I was the typical teenage 4channer).

I listened to this album because of the constant memes about it (this is at the peak of the endless SEMEN spam threads), expecting it to be a joke but the emotion is so unrestrained that it really shook my core. It was the complete opposite of what I'd been up until that point in my life, and I realized how disgusting I was. I felt naked and I would cry whenever I listened to it, the entire time.

I still relapse into asshole mode, but I'm trying, which is the important part.

Sorry for this blogpost but I've never told anyone this.

shes on two maybe three tracks on this album so what are you implying broseph

This is what innocence sounds like in the purest form. No other album will relate to your teenage years and the concept of growing up quite like this. Came out over 20 years ago but holds such nostalgia even if it's your first time listening.

First album that really made me want to go further and look for more music.

Say what you will about how blunt and angsty the lyrics are, but I might literally be dead without this record. Seriously listened to it multiple times a day everyday for awhile when I was suicidal.

That's a nice story user. I always felt like that album was sort of magical.

In what way has this album affected you?
(Did I use the correct affect?)

This album basically got me into screaming as a way of singing.

AHHHH
fuck i love this album just as much as this one I know no one else that appreciates this album as much as i do. It's truly one of a kind.

My older sister got me this cassette on my birthday when I was kid. Thinking back I think it's the first real album I ever owned.

Bowie literally changed my life.
Getting into him in high school really opened my eyes, musically and personally.
