>>Literally the same thread
The last thread got barely half its posts. If this one hits the bump limit maybe there won't be a pt 3

France has the best composers

>willingly made a thread about a cancerous, pop music styled composer that everyone fucking hates
>everyone told him the composer was shit and his stupid thread times out
>He decides to make the same thread again
I GENUINELY FUCKING HATE YOU, OP YOU MASSIVE FUCKING FAGGOT.

The last thread only timed out because /classical/ is the most effeminate and submissive sub on all of Sup Forums that lets its threads die because they're too afraid to post

>cancerous, pop music styled composer that everyone fucking hates

pleb

HANS ZIMMER IS FUCKING CANCER AND STOP BAITING ME WITH THE WORD SUB. I KNOW THIS ISN'T REDDIT.

>"P-please be gentle, Zimmer-senpai!!!!~"

what if its bad tho

Think it will be better than the Chicago Symphony Orchestra recording?

Hans Zimmer is a meme. Maybe good to get into classical music, but nothing more. Can't deny he is a gifted composer for movie themes, that are loved by the audience, though,

Because Gould was literally autistic and so is everyone capable of listening to his maybe interesting, but not pleasing interpretations filled with his annoying humming.

youtu.be/y-bxtDrhXpY

Anyone notice something extremely particular about mozart; What I mean is that his music has a different type of cohesion compared to other composers.

He was able to do so much with so little, its insane. In beethoven and romantic concertos divisions in form, modulation etc, all sound distinct, even if they flow beautifully.

I think you can hear the music literally flow from divinity to paper with Mozart.

ANyone also feel this way?

honestly can the thread makers stop having learning disabilities

first the is there a better piece of music than chopins nocturne op 9 no 2 made a thread now some faggot with a hard on for a shitty film composer wants us to circle jerk the reincarnation of bogs face

you all should have sided with me when i made that protest program music thread but you all told me to fuck off and now look what we've facilitated

won't be
not a huge fan of the boulez one if that's what you're talking about

whats the most beautiful piece from chopin or liszt?

I usually don't like Liszt, but his Totentanz played by Michelangeli is pure gold.

forgot link:
youtube.com/watch?v=2M85W1l83jg

liszt for me is Au bord d'une source

chopin, dunno, maybe op 27 no 2

Any thoughts on Blechacz's Chopin recordings?

>is there a better piece of music than chopins nocturne op 9 no 2

good question. i would also like an answer to this.

Barcarolle Op. 60

Au lac de wallenstadt and Liebestraume No. 2

nocturne op 9 no 2

I think he places the technical aspect of the music above the emotion.

Arrau is always best when it comes to Chopin.

youtube.com/watch?v=PANzRQWpM9Q

Gould>Gulda
one actually played with reverence for classical while Gulda was just a jewy jazz rat

No

Mirages, Op. 70 is brilliant.

you guys know of anything similar to this? Kinda like Drone Classical I suppose.

youtube.com/watch?v=eZMeoBu3-sI

Picture your funeral.
The packed cathedral is deafeningly silent. The dread and despair resonating from the audience is palpable . The orchestra is stoic and taut, ready to play. Suddenly the door is violently knocked open by the pallbearers carrying your coffin, ready to walk down the Isle
what piece plays?

thnks for posting this thread OP, i'm a big fan of classical music myself. My favorite classical albumis the dark knight OST

good lad

Who is the best pianist under 30?

That's a pretty big soundtrack. Tell me, if I called it shit would you cry?

For you.

Zimmermans work on the film Batman vs superman was superb
youtube.com/watch?v=S176AKQhcCk
Now that is the sound of the most prolific classical composer alive today.

this semondemon
youtube.com/watch?v=3jbHbDena_U

Not bad, but his work for Madagascar 2 is superior:

>The uploader has not made this video available in your country.

:/

Serenade by Schubert

Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto 1 first movement.
If I'm going down might as well go with a bang.

youtube.com/watch?v=dle4djzWa2o

I unironically liked his work for that shit Sherlock Holmes movie

youtube.com/watch?v=oXLodky50zM
youtube.com/watch?v=NqFVC5N0dPQ

some of his works are decent but even those works are so substandard to what we should be discussing that they are grossly out of place. His best works would be substandard in a /film composer general/ but here they are a dead fly on a pile of dog shit.

The requiem I will write for my own death someday

wow imagine hearing that live

poly is that you?

So qt

Nah

Genuine French Impressionism is as God tier as the First Viennese School

Chopin's fugue arranged for string orchestra

she's a fucking abhorrent pianist but there was this video from 2014 or some shit of her playing Gaspard de la Nuit in this incredible white dress that exposed 90% of her sweet Babushkas as they swooned and jiggled demonically through the virtuosic moments of the entire triptych, it's unfortunately been plucked from YT as well as the rest of the internet as far as I can discern as I tried searching for it a couple of months ago to no avail but my god it made for a fantastic fap at the time

>Action toms / Taiko
>0 substance
>0 motivic develpment

I remember that meme.

shame about that honker tho

Zimmer > Mozart

...

So few actual marches being chosen

If you disagree, you're a pleb.

IDK if I want my funeral to remind everyone of A Clockwork Orange

youtube.com/watch?v=ZAJo9JvDWug
I hate sad and somber funerals desu.

>good classical composition gets ruined yet again by popular exposure
Lmao you can't make this shit up people.

It's a good movie and probably more culturally significant than that piece of music anyway LOL.

lol

>If it's popular then I can't like it anymore
Sup Forums: the post

youtube.com/watch?v=cQCQRLA05AA

gonna go do the old in-out in-out with a couple devotchkas, eh?

Hi, I know next to nothing about classical music.
Can anyone recommend me something that sounds like Cardiacs' Eden On the Air? youtube.com/watch?v=7r2Y-4jhgIo especially stuff with parts like 1:17 and 2:00.

Sorry this general is a small community of effeminate and submissive posters who are too afraid to post. Better luck elsewhere.

how do i talk to people

>Hi my name is user. How are you doing?

Gonna shill Vivaldi again
youtube.com/watch?v=IRFCioX7K5k

well that sucks

>singing Josquin's Malheur me bat Agnus II at the unison with an added breve between the parts
I'm not even mad I'm impressed.

Keep up the good work

Are you all here academic musicians or just classical enthusiasts?

A little of both.

I'm just a Classical enthusiast. I can only play the clarinet.

>only
Better not to spread yourself thin anyway.

classical enthusiast

I'm an anti-academic classical musician

How did you achieve that? Do you have a work as classical musician without academy? Genuinely curious since I have a years of classical training but dropped out of academy after a year.

Studied classical piano for years. Stopped to focus on college.

I don't really consider myself an academic but I can read and understand music. I primarily listen for enjoyment though, not analytical purposes.

I don't know man, there are private teachers and self-education
plus I live in an unbelievable craphole, so I guess any skill is valuable here, who cares about lofty academic assholes in their citadels.

Why is romantic and impressionist music such awful tryhard horseshit compared to classical?

Shut up.
