Isaac Allen
The last thread only timed out because /classical/ is the most effeminate and submissive sub on all of Sup Forums that lets its threads die because they're too afraid to post

Think it will be better than the Chicago Symphony Orchestra recording?
Ian Cox
Hans Zimmer is a meme. Maybe good to get into classical music, but nothing more. Can't deny he is a gifted composer for movie themes, that are loved by the audience, though,
Because Gould was literally autistic and so is everyone capable of listening to his maybe interesting, but not pleasing interpretations filled with his annoying humming.
Anyone notice something extremely particular about mozart; What I mean is that his music has a different type of cohesion compared to other composers.
He was able to do so much with so little, its insane. In beethoven and romantic concertos divisions in form, modulation etc, all sound distinct, even if they flow beautifully.
I think you can hear the music literally flow from divinity to paper with Mozart.
ANyone also feel this way?

honestly can the thread makers stop having learning disabilities
first the is there a better piece of music than chopins nocturne op 9 no 2 made a thread now some faggot with a hard on for a shitty film composer wants us to circle jerk the reincarnation of bogs face

whats the most beautiful piece from chopin or liszt?
Parker Fisher
I usually don't like Liszt, but his Totentanz played by Michelangeli is pure gold.
Picture your funeral. The packed cathedral is deafeningly silent. The dread and despair resonating from the audience is palpable . The orchestra is stoic and taut, ready to play. Suddenly the door is violently knocked open by the pallbearers carrying your coffin, ready to walk down the Isle what piece plays?
thnks for posting this thread OP, i'm a big fan of classical music myself. My favorite classical albumis the dark knight OST

Zimmermans work on the film Batman vs superman was superb youtube.com/watch?v=S176AKQhcCk Now that is the sound of the most prolific classical composer alive today.
some of his works are decent but even those works are so substandard to what we should be discussing that they are grossly out of place. His best works would be substandard in a /film composer general/ but here they are a dead fly on a pile of dog shit.

Chopin's fugue arranged for string orchestra
she's a fucking abhorrent pianist but there was this video from 2014 or some shit of her playing Gaspard de la Nuit in this incredible white dress that exposed 90% of her sweet Babushkas as they swooned and jiggled demonically through the virtuosic moments of the entire triptych, it's unfortunately been plucked from YT as well as the rest of the internet as far as I can discern as I tried searching for it a couple of months ago to no avail but my god it made for a fantastic fap at the time
gonna go do the old in-out in-out with a couple devotchkas, eh?
Sebastian Turner
Hi, I know next to nothing about classical music. Can anyone recommend me something that sounds like Cardiacs' Eden On the Air? youtube.com/watch?v=7r2Y-4jhgIo especially stuff with parts like 1:17 and 2:00.
Kayden Ramirez
Sorry this general is a small community of effeminate and submissive posters who are too afraid to post. Better luck elsewhere.

Are you all here academic musicians or just classical enthusiasts?
John Powell
A little of both.

I'm an anti-academic classical musician
Robert James
How did you achieve that? Do you have a work as classical musician without academy? Genuinely curious since I have a years of classical training but dropped out of academy after a year.
Hudson Rodriguez
Studied classical piano for years. Stopped to focus on college.
I don't really consider myself an academic but I can read and understand music. I primarily listen for enjoyment though, not analytical purposes.
Leo Jones
I don't know man, there are private teachers and self-education plus I live in an unbelievable craphole, so I guess any skill is valuable here, who cares about lofty academic assholes in their citadels.
Jaxson Bennett
Why is romantic and impressionist music such awful tryhard horseshit compared to classical?
