Is Kevin Durant the greatest Seattle Supersonic ever?

Is Kevin Durant the greatest Seattle Supersonic ever?

there's no such thing as a supersonic

The fuck is a supersonic?

That looks photoshoped Seattle doesn't have a basketball team

shawn kemp?

Gary Payton/Shawn Kemp > Chris Paul/Blake Griffin

Nigga that aint Jesus Shuttlesworth

nice mockup seattle

whats a supersonic?

something that goes faster than the speed of sound

i've never heard it

>tfw dad bandwagoned supersonics in the early 90's and I can't inherit a team like a proper lad and keep telling myself that it's fun to enjoy the league as a whole

I just hate OKC, but it's not the same as having a team

Shouldn't the Supersonics share a part of Durant's hall of fame jersey with the Thunder?

It just doesn't seem fair. The supersonics have a rich history

my nigga

can someone explain to me why they lost their team in the first place to a shitty like OKC?

like, seattle is a really great city and they were a great, historied franchise.

The glove

KD is one ugly nigga

not making much money at the time in seattle, more money to leave and start anew.

No. He's is tied with Westbrook for the Thunder.

Just be a Thunder fan.

37% attendance
their excuse was "t-the stadium sucked!" which I guess means it didn't have pumped in noise

fucking depressing that they can't look the other way in a time of recession and have to fuck up everyone shit just because it's a tad too expensive

>historied franchise
>one ring

Sure, but why a poor, white trash, meth-infested shitpile like Oklahoma?

he was. too bad he had to leave

the current owner is from oklahoma

The "Rainman." One of the best dunkers in history.

OKC is actually one of the fastest growing cities in the nation and it's mostly yuppies and white collar folks. OKC is not rural Oklahoma.
They're still okie trash tho

That's not Jack Sikma.

shit fans, shit attendance, city didnt care about them

>supersonics have a rich history

And as history it shall stay. Forever.

Seattle didn't give a fuck about them until they left, now they bitch every time it's brought up like fucking bitter faggots

>okie trash
>okie

That's our word, you yankee fuck.

There's a big documentary called sonics gate but it's biased as fuck.

Seattle never cared about the sonics until they realized they were probably going to leave

Watch Sonicsgate. It explains everything.

Hemorrhaging money, near the bottom of the league in attendance for almost a decade, arena wasn't up to NBA standards anymore and the city wasn't going to help with that at all, owner that didn't give a fuck and wanted to cut his losses.

why is shittatle the only city crying about losing their team? You don't hear kansas city or hongcouver for example crying about it.

Because Seattle is a relevant and worthwhile city unlike those shit holes.

>relevant and worthwhile city

There's nothing worthwhile about a place that gets sun a full three times a year and whose unofficial motto is "what are your pronouns?"

Durant played in Seattle exactly one season, so no.

I would go with Gary Payton.

Maybe because unlike those other places Seattle didn't actually deserve to lose their team

When Katrina hit new Orleans the hornets (who New Orleans stole from Charlotte) played their home games in Oklahoma city. League saw their was a great fan response and so when an Oklahoman bought the sonics and wanted to move them there, they obligied.

Obviously a juicer, so he doesn't count

Except that's blatantly wrong, I lived in the area back then and the only time they weren't as popular was when Schultz and then Bennett were running the team into the ground.

It's just not as fun of a meme to talk about arena/league politics instead of just blaming Seattle fans, who are pretty annoying desu.

Seattle is responsible for grunge. They deserve a lot worse than losing their precious basketball team.

If they didn't deserve it why did they move?

have you actually been through okc? It's absolutely still a shit city. I drove through it in January and the casinos are still the tallest buildings in the state.
