What do you peeps do with album art?

what do you peeps do with album art?

personally i remove all the album art for every song.

anything that actually automatically assigns the correct album art?

Google search
Copy
Paste album art in Media player
Listen in foobar2k

>google album cover
>find a good res, good quality pic
>put in album folder as cover.jpg

yep

It's not 2004 anymore gramps

yes, this

I've tried an automatic program but it doesn't work for a lot of albums. It did help me with a lot of my collection, but I don't use it for the new music I add.

musicbee > right click > search internet for picture > embed

i should probably just do the folder.jpg thing but it's a bit late now

I use a freeware program called Album Art Downloader that fetches artwork only from sources that I approve, usually last.fm.

I manually tag my music before adding it to the library. Sometimes I rely on software for autotagging but mostly I have to hand pick the correct album cover and other info.

Google
Put in artist and album name
Image
Size: Large

Not that.

I do this too.

Not added very much music recently, but when I was adding a lot of music, frequently, I kept on top of all my tagging and general info about each album.
Searched manually for fair quality album art too. 600x600 is baseline.

>google album cover
>sort by highest resolution
>usually 1000x1000 minimum unless it's obscure
>drag to itunes on selected album
>done

I used to do this but I keep all of my music in one large folder so when I would search for one album the art would apply to every album. I had no love deep web as the cover for every album for about five months.
Now I just save the art to a dedicated album art folder and embed it in the music files.
