All of pavements albums are 10/10 so I guess it's as good as their most popular one
No, but Pretty Hate Machine is.
Strawberry Jam

Campfire Songs

...

Sure, Liar, 502 (dat, "Drivin' fast, MAKES ME FEEEL GOOOD") and In My Darkest Hour are pretty good, but that record isn't even better than Killing Is My Business, let alone Rust In Peace, Peace Sells, or even Countdown To Extinction.

Could have accepted Killing Is My Business. Come on, man.

Everyone knows his s/t is amazing but this never gets a mention

I think the two are about even for his best work at polar opposite ends of the musical spectrum

I've never gotten the hype behind Unknown Pleasures desu, the fast-paced songs like Interzone and Disorder are fuckin brilliant but when it slows down I lose interest completely

They're about equal imo but Dead Flag Blues gets me every time

Amnesiac would be my favorite if it weren't for Morning Bell (seriously why, they could have put Fog or fucking Kinetic there and it would have been perfect). And the album version of I Might Be Wrong is a lot worse because of the shitty drum machines imo. In Rainbows is their most consistent

Of course

easy choice

>Pretty Hate Machine

haha, no.

wrong

Acceptable. I Think Ride The Lightning is best but Kill 'Em All has The Four Horsemen.

Master of Puppets is great and in many ways better than the others but it's when they started getting too serious.

...

...

...

agreed
it just has a certain vibe that they never captured again

Suck half a cock and fuck yourself with the other.

Probably could have gone with Trompe Le Monde as well
I love Doolittle, but these other two are just soo guuud

best answer itt

Which of their album is considered to be the best ?

...

Brighten The Corners

...

...

...

yeah i agree with this one.

rest are just troll posts, or wannabe contrarians doing it slightly wrong.

eh, maybe this. but imo almost all his albums are equally good.

Pic related, Deadwing and Signify are all better than In Absentia and Fear of a Blank Planet

either the debut or AM i suppose

oh hey this guy posted a steven wilson thread a minute ago.

no prog fans like nu-prog cos it's scary to them. you need to approach the metalheads with these albums and opinions, bro.

...

...

No that was a different guy
I'm well aware most people here don't like new prog

Absolutely correct, bud.

>no prog fans like nu-prog cos it's scary to them
I like some nu-prog but PT never really did it for me. Pic related is one of my all time favorites though

Close but In Rainbows is better
Yes
I prefer LTIA but this is definitely their most underrated album and my second favorite

I agree

>doesn't like PT
>likes shitty lolsorandumXD Mars Volta clone

if you posted the s/t then you might have had a point.
you're just a filthy contrarian.

:(

Also Age of Adz to Illinois

PT just seemed sterile and overly serious

Then try Devin Townsend if you want something less serious

correct
