baka

>Can't write lyrics to save his life

He used to be OK
>It seems we living the american dream
>But the people highest up got the lowest self esteem
>The prettiest people do the ugliest things
>For the road to riches and diamond rings
>We shine because they hate us, floss cause they degrade us
>We trying to buy back our 40 acres
>And for that paper, look how low we a'stoop
>Even if you in a Benz, you still a nigga in a coop/coupe

But now his lyrics are dogshit, just like his production
>For all the girls that got dick from Kanye West
>If you see 'em in the streets give 'em Kanye's best
>Why? They mad they ain't famous (God damn)
>They mad they're still nameless (Talk that talk, man)
>Her man in the store tryna try his best
>But he just can't seem to get Kanye fresh
>But we still hood famous (God damn)
>Yeah we still hood famous

>Thick as hell
>Great milk
>Can't make music that plays outside of starbucks

lmao

basically

Hardmode time:
>1. They are one of the most creative and inventive bands I've heard, they seem unafraid to try anything.
>2. The band plays extremely well off each other.
>1. They're overrated as hell for the (mostly) mediocre music they make.

kek

Your IQ isn't as high as you think it is, and people like you even less than you think.

>grows on trees

>ouch splinter

1. He's amazing at Noise Rock
2. He's amazing at Post Rock
1. He's shit at Folk Rock (with the exception of Children of God)

>racially diverse
>qt singer
>genre whore

>comparing the lyrics of a verse to that of a hook

What about these guys

I'm not into them enough to say anything about DG but I think it would be interesting to see what you guys think

>racially diverse
found the cuck

>complex and intricate instrumentals giving them unlimited replay value
>fantastic visuals
>the fandom

> writes good lyrics
>plays piano and harp well.
>can't sing worth shit

>the Asian guy is actually pretty talented
>they do occasionally have decent rapping in their songs instead of that whiny white boy nu-metal shit (not much, though)
>they're a nu-metal band

twas bait my friend

You know he's right though, TLOP is miles away from MBDTF/WTT lyrically

I'm not going to agree with you on such shitty, cherrypicked evidence. The All Falls Down hook is just interpolated Lauryn Hill performed by someone else. The lyrics in Real Friends highlights the frustrations he's experienced since his thrust into superstardom that's been since trying to clarify since MBDTF, specifically with a focus on trusting those he thought could always be trusted, i.e.: the cousin that jacked the laptop. Yet, he also returns to a state of 808s self-doubt and insecurity, blaming himself for forgetting a birthday and calling a week later even after that fact. Hell, a parallelism can be drawn between him bitching about the cousin with the laptop, and Kanye himself referring to himself as a "deadbeat cousin".

>The often frantic drumming works perfectly with the heavily distorted bass
>They have a knack for great hooks
>They're kind of a one-trick pony, so if you don't like the first song you hear by them you probably won't like the rest

>relatable lyrics
>self-depreciating humor
>nasally voice

i like his singing honestly

what are you talking about? his singing is amazing

he just has a shitty voice from a lifetime of smoking

Pink Floyd
>Groundbreaking and influential to many bands I love

>Good Guitarist

> fans either consist of lewrongeneration 14 year olds or dads who overpraise their work massively
