fuck off

Pleb. I own all of the soundtracks. They're fantastic.

Try reddit instead
>you're a pleb for disliking reddit: the movie
Haha oh wow

Do you have autism?

>In the music board
>Doesn't like music

Can't have one of these threads without Duel of the Fates.

Probably the best in the whole series. It still gives me chills around 1:15 like it did when I first saw the movie.

>reddit: the movie
Say what you want about the new movie, or the bullshit prequels, or even Return Of The Jedi, but the first two movies are fantastic. I don't think anybody would argue with that.

Hi Sup Forums

V sucks.
The entire plot could have been summed up in an opening crawl.

>he doesn't like Empire Strikes Back
It's arguably the best Star Wars movie.

Without saying the word "adventure" explain why.
Nobody ever can.

It's much darker, and more serious in time than the first movie. The first movie is very optimistic. You get a sense that the heroes will win, and save the galaxy or whatever. In Empire Strikes Back, nothing goes right for any of the good guys throughout the whole movie. Everything goes wrong, everybody ends on a low note, the heroes barely survive at the end.
>C3PO is blown to pieces
>Luke loses his arm, loses to Darth Vader, and tries to kill himself after Vader drops the "I am your father" bomb
>Han is tortured and then frozen and shipped to Jabba The Hut
>Millennium Falcon is damaged throughout the whole movie
>Heroes just barely escape from the empire by the skin of their teeth
Its far more suspenseful and emotional than the first movie.

more serious in tone*

>tfw I showed my dad the vinyl version of TFA soundtrack
>tfw he immediately bought it
>tfw mediocre OST but the holograms are cool as fuck

Empire Strikes Back had the best score as far as I'm concerned.

That moment at 2:18 is pure bliss man.

I like how then if you actually have autism and don't own any of the soundtracks and don't have a scruffy neck or any of these things you can't be like, "Hey, I have autism and this doesn't apply to me," because then you're going to out yourself as an autist and you'll get to keep feeling superior.

This is the correct answer. John Williams score and how it's used in the film are at it's peak in Empire.

Return of the Jedi had some great tracks too. That scene where Luke lashes out at Vader and cut off his hand would not be as effective without the great accompanying score.

Also, the cinematography is absolutely gorgeous.

Agreed, the film's an absolute fucking masterpiece.
