it took me a long time too user. there's just so much nuance and attention to detail. plus it's so harmonically and melodically unconventional. i think it just takes a lot of repeated listens and critical thinking in order to fully grasp the scope of this album's greatness. now it's one of my favorites of all time.

I will always love Sup Forums for getting me into about 50 of the bands I'm currently listening to. Sonic Youth is probably the top of the list - fuck I can't believe I didn't follow this band in the 90's.
Daydream Nation is fucking masterpiece - their other albums are amazing too; Sister, Bad Moon Rising, EVOL, Goo, Dirty, - fuck I love their whole catalog.
