Secession when?
/cfb/ offseason general
never because UT doesn't want it
2nd for Gators will win the East
>implying anyone other than a&m and ut have ever registered more than a 1.0 neilsen rating on their own
Baylor in recent seasons, TCU and UH historically.
>amateur "sports"
>the state of Little Mexico wants to secede
lmao
>my face when people actually think the team with the best defense and a top 10 offense in the country will miss the playoffs next season
>Brandon Peters (objectively and statistically the best QB in the 2016 recruiting class, it isn't even debatable)
>Ty Isaac (best RB in the game who will be 100% healthy, unlike the entirety of last year. he will put up 1200+YDs/10+TDs/5.0YPC)
>Jake Butt (a top 3 TE already going into this season, 1000+YDs/7+TDs)
>Sean McKeon (literally a Jake Butt-clone)
>Amara Darboh (top 10 WR, 900+YDs/5+TDs)
>Jabril Peppers (a black guy trapped in a black's body, one of the smartest players in football, elite measurables, incredible upside)
>Kareem Walker (one of the fastest and most explosive players in football)
>Joe Beneducci (best blocking FB in country)
>Best pass rush in the B1G
>Best LB corp in the B1G
>Besy secondary in the country
>Top 5 D-Line
Barring major injuries to key players, there is literally no way the Wolverines are missing the playoffs this season
The Michigan B1G championship drought ends in 2016-2017
You can't prove me wrong
Cap it
No matter how close an AAC or MW team comes to winning it all, they'll always blow a meaningless game or get the winning TD called off by a phantom penalty.
This happens 100% of the time. The fix is in.
>you can't prove me wrong
No I can't.
But Urban Meyer can.
>Little Mexico
>not NĂ¼ Mexico
>AD meetings May 31
Just fuck my shit up, cowpai.
...
>all those teams
>not one half-decent one between any of them
>/cfb/ before August
please stop
hence "offseason" you whiny little shit
Compared to who? The NFL?
>I haven't done the reading, but here's my opinion
Not this shit again.
H-hey guys, w-what's g-g-g-goin' on in this thread?
compared to anyone
Purdue desu
>Indiana
>name of your state is literally the name of a porn
Well, the Boilermakers are the only mascot I can think of named after an alcoholic beverage, so good for you.
We /12/ soon
So with the FedEx pledge, are we pretty much locked into Cincy & Memphis?
Who Group-of-Five here?
no one really knows
here
Well the Big 12 has surely developed a pattern of being fucking retarded as fuck, no?
>conference you're in
>conference you want to be in after the Big 12 fucks shit up this summer.
Being this delusional.
>have to wait till May 31st for more Big 12 collapsing news
So close
Just fuck my shit up, Fran
And yet so far.
>ACC is too expensive, AAC only logical choice, Cincy and Memphis best options
>Big 12 will still manage to fuck this up like with Tulane and Colorado State or some stupid fucking bullshit
MW could be an option except
>muh WVU
Talk about a fuck-up, how many teams said no before they had to settle for a fuckin' scrub like that?
>tfw you'll never join the SEC
>tfw you'll never even leave the ACC
Please take Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and OK State with you. We want out of this shit conference.
The SEC could literally have any team they wanted, they're the SEC.
They took Missouri and A&M because the ACC is absolute shit at football and you should feel bad.
>shit conference
Assuming UT pulls its head out of its ass and realizes it has no conference without equal representation, how do we
>Make the Big 12 great again
It's not our fault
>who wku here
:^)
Unless you are a FSU or Clemson fan you can use shit like that
If you are then what the fuck are you doing backing the ACC?
*can't
...
...
>SEC
>SEC
>tfw playing NCAA to satisfy my cfb cravings
>in year 3 as a DC at Rice
>tfw based stacked veteran defense
feels good man
Clemson is overrated garbage who never played anyone.
FSU had some great years with Senpai Newton, but those years are over now.
>Bumfuck Community College Fightin' Anuses joining the SEC
Prolly not.
Here's your (you)
enjoy it
And here I was just today reading how IRL Rice is the hardest job in the entire conference. Good job, I guess?
...
>we had a couple good seasons and now we think we belong in the SEC
I just want to get out of this goddamn Yankee basketball conference
>build up Eastern Michigan with Mike Leach style offense
>perennial B1G power
>Paul Johnson gets canned, bolt for GT job
>take his roster and set passing records on my way to a natty first year at GT
Wish it could be real life desu
m.youtube.com
I didn't ask for these feels
>cusa
>sec
Atleast our baseball team is solid this year
>implying IRL EMU would ever give you such resources.
I went to North Texas. Fourth largest school in the state and largest in the metroplex. Should have boss recruiting, but instead we get a new stadium and the cheapest coach they could find on Craigslist.
i go to UF famalam
Not really realistic, I can't see the SEC going to 16 teams anytime soon, but if they did it tomorrow they'd read the ACC or Big 12 just for the media markets.
The unspoken hierarchy is that you can only take a team from the conference immediately below you on this list:
SEC/B1G/PAC12
Big 12
ACC
AAC/MW
CUSA
SBC
MAC
>its a butch jones chokes away the season episode
>American
>Big 12
>Big 12 extending to Florida
Nah.
/FunBelt/ here
Jabrill Peppers 4 Heisman
Woodson 2.0
>Sun Belt
>AAC
GO MEAN GREEN
FUCK ALL THE TEXAS SCHOOLS THAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY KNOW EXIST (ESPECIALLY aTm)
FIGHT FOR THE GREEN AND WHITE
>The SEC could literally have any team they wanted, they're the SEC.
Poaching big 12 teams is not an accomplishment.
Steal a big ten team and I'll be impressed.
>I'll be impressed
That is of course the entire reason behind expansion
Impressing this one user
Most big ten teams would bring in more money than A&M or Mizzou, and they would all bring in more prestigious academics than those schools (other than Nebraska, Rutgers and IU).
And money/influence is the point of expansion.
100 days until kickoff!
Can't wait.
The SEC doesn't want any Yankees.
Whatever your bullshit reasoning for why it's important, saying "I'll be impressed" is the most arrogant thing you could say
>you will never have a coach that shows you this amount of love
aTm is ranked very highly in academics. One of the best engineering schools in the country.
>lets just keep letting the ACC and SEC take all the talent
are you some kind of shill?
A&M is above average but the big ten has several elite engineering schools: Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Purdue.
also we make fun of aggie Petros at my school because every time we intern somewhere in Texas or Oklahoma, aggie Petros always talk shit but end up being the biggest retards
>Gaylor getting exposed again

Death penalty fucking when
Death penalty should be reserved for actual cheating, a la UNC.
So will they continue to dissolve, or will they look to add teams like ECU, Memphis, Cincinnati, Colorado State, and Houston?
They should just let it die already tbqh, the CFP would be easier if it was just the winner of each conference.
o shit whaddup
ACC is better than the Big 12 atm. They have more success in football and basketball, more money, much more solidity in their TV contracts, and better schools in general. Realistically the SEC, B1G, and Pac 12 should just split up the teams from the Big 12 so that they each get to 16, Iowa State and West Virginia should join a lower-level conference, and the ACC should add UConn and make Notre Dame a full-time member (WVU could replace UConn but their academics are so shit idk).
I'd love to see App State make it up to CUSA or AAC. Best football fans in North Carolina and Boone is comfy af. Would definitely need to expand the stadium though.
>he's a butthurt little brother NC State fan
Nothing is going to happen to UNC. It's okay. Shhh. Just let it happen.
>tsun delusion is back
42-13
>might be more noon start times for acc games
OFFICIAL PLAYOFF PREDICTION.
1. UGA
2. Clemson
3. Alabama

>1. UGA
It's that time again?
You forgot USC, TAMU and Notre Dame
