Terokkar is the best of the bunch
...
It's superb when paired with it's game, but falls kinda flat on it's own.
totes patrish
others that come to mind are
>fez
>Dark Souls
>FTL
>vvvvvv
>Rayman 1, 2, 3, Origins (not played Legends yet)
bros
fucking loved this game, even if I did get stuck in the dessert of Kharran
good choice, good game
While we're talking about gaming, which game should I play for the first time next?
The Last of Us, Demon's Souls or SotC
And OP, you'll get a lot of backlash because Undertale, but I agree. First game soundtrack I liked enough to actually bother downloading the thing.
How has no one mentioned this gem yet? Keep in mind, this was made in 1994, and to this day, basically no vidya has such a wide array of music. It's 3 hours of plain bliss

one of the few I can listen to outside the context of the game desu, amazing detail, IIRC they used shit like tape loops in lieu of t#The Beatles on this thing
Yeah, the sampled (a brand-new technique at the time) the Beatles and various others, even the intro applause for Monty Pythons High Flying Circus
And they would distort the samples and put them to use in an absolutely brillant way, namely to create new and mystic, but very listenable soundscapes
...
Best
Such an underrated game in general
Say what you want about the game but Max Payne 3's soundtrack was also phenomenal. Went well with the change in atmosphere.

honestly this started my love of liquid dnb and made me picky with it at the same time

I'd say 2 has more consistency, but god damn those MOON songs are great.
Great choice user
Hell yeah
Soichi Terada is amazing
...
even great choice, user!
The entire series has amazing soundtracks, but my personal favorite would have to be the first Mother's.

CAN YOU FEEL THE SUNSHINE
Is this the one with City Escape?
you know the name
Fuck man that game cut deep
good choices
No mention of the best cover of a video game soundtrack?
youtube.com
I prefer the original + Wrath of the Lamb soundtrack over the Rebirth/Afterbirth soundtrack
Never played Earthbound before or listened to the music, but just looked this up and it's actually damn cool
That's Sonic Adventure 2 fampai.
It actually does have a good soundtrack, whereas Sonic R was probably a shitpost.
Mystery Dungeon will never have an orchestral version of the soundtrack.
The first MOH was greatness too but I think I'm going to go with MOHU.
Comfiest soundtrack imo.
You and everybody else ever.
Pretty much the only thing the original has over Rebirth though.
Though I have to say, while the original OST is definitely better, I think the new one maybe works better as a soundtrack for Isaac.
It might just be my fonder memories of the game talking though.
I prefer this guys remixes

I kinda preffered the original in overall tone and feel of difficulty/fairness, I played both of them to 'bout 190 hours each but Rebirth started feelings like an aggravating long slog to me just before Afterbirth came out and the DLC did nothing to quell the feel besides Greed Mode, but I'm aware I'm of the minority in this
>ctrl+f
>no Swords And Sworcery
You guys are missing out.

Love that one. Do you know about these remixes? Some are done quite well

...
god tier techno rave breakbeat shit
Haven't played the sequels. Beat the Blue Dungeon twice to nearly 100% when I was younger tho.
>all of this music and not a single mention of the Age of Mythology games
for shame anons
youtube.com
lets hope you plebs get some taste.
It's a shame that the DS' sound quality is so bad youtube.com
Now that i think about it here's another one, not a playlist though.
youtube.com
>not the AoE soundtracks
call yourself a pleb
Hey OP people are gonna bitch that you said Undertale had a 10/10 soundtrack, but they're just being stupid assholes. The music is part of why people picked up the game. It's why the game is fun, and everyone is still listening to it. Everyone likes the soundtrack, and that's why it's in the background for so many videos now.
Never played this game, but Neil Voss makes some good bangerz / Chemical Brothers imitations
...
Rediscovered the Bomberman Hero OST the other day, and it's awesome.
meh, not a fan of the genre so can't really comment on them.

>you will never conduct your own video game soundtrack
LISA has my favourite soundtrack of all time
Its a shame the game flopped

Plebian as fuck, all of you
Came here to post this.
10/10
Over 40+ tracks, every single one is great as fuck and it matches perfectly with the atmosphere
its pretty gud
You are incorrect.
These all great choices.
I'd like to nominate pic related.
GOAT
the only real answer
justify this.
patrician.
ok, so looking through this thread, the problem seems to be that if a soundtrack "sounds epic", then people like it.
Not my favorite game but the soundtrack is very atmospheric. Honestly the biggest problem I had with lone survivor is that it's atmosphere was so much better than the gameplay.
