This gets my dick hard

>dem fat-ass tyres

3rd for high speed double apex corners

nth for Sheik Abdulla Hamilton Khalifa

>This is the closest the middle east will get to having a WDC

Any of you ever tried designing your own F1 cars? I did and planned to make add them to a good sim and race them, but eventually forgot about them and lost my old PC with all my games

>Pic related

This was our first car, entered the 1990 season with Nelson Piquet and Olivier Panis. Renault RS2 3.5 V10 engine and Goodyear tires.

R8

I want to do it, which game do you think is the easiest one to use?

What the fuck was the thread like during the last race/when it ended?

summed up:
>Hamilshit apologists vs Sup Forums racists
>amxmadwinslol Dutchies
>mad cucked Aussies
>ultimate disappointment for Finland

Only had time to finish watching the race last night.

Fuck me the Sky coverage was painful.

it kind of makes me think what if hamilton retires, who will they jerk off next

amx mad obviously, they already kinda do

What has /F1/ bought/started using inadvertently because of sponsorship in F1? For me it was this. Always remembered seeing the sponsorship everywhere as a kid during the GP's and tried it when I was older, not super disappointed weirdly.

The hit to finland wasn't that hard actually, most of us were happy for amx.
even gimi shook his hand

are you roleplaying as one of us m8?

mad amx

orbljews

gross

tfw this track will never be raced on again

If they put some SAFERs on that banking and give it a smooth layer of asphalt, it wouldn't be that unthinkable for something like Indycar. But F1 would sadly never ever take the risk.

Damn, now I'd really like to see an Indycar race there!

21st for Dutch track marshalls.

WTF?! This just send a shiver down my spine. Fucking hell! Must have been terrible for Purley too, hearing him scream while trying to get him out of the car while absolutely nobody is helping for 8 minutes...
Also, no red flag? Everybody agrees they throw a red flag way to easy nowadays, but this...

Oversized engine that nullified any competitive chance of the team when ground effect was introduced and led to one of the most innovative designs ever that looked nothing like this, but still managed to win a race before getting gracefully retired among protests?

IndyCar doesn't even use the European ovals that actually exist, so they probably won't,

SAFERS on banking? Indycar? Are you totaly insane?

Indycar does not drive on anything past 20° on 2 mile ovals. This one is comparable (but still longer!) in length to Indianapolis. There is no width to that track, banking is at 30° progressive and uneven through the corners. Indinapolis, which is at the last end of being drivable for Indycar, is at 9°! Indy simply doesn't drive on any other 2.5 mile track, and doesn't drive on highly banked 2 milers as well.

Hey /f1/, what's for breakfast?

>SAFERS on banking?
Yes? It was developed for ovals, and first implemented at Indianapolis.

The rest of your explanation is true tho. Didn't think about the extreme G-forces a modern car would have to face. Like the 2001 Indy race at Texas Speedway (banking 24°) that had to be canceled because of that..

go to Sup Forums if you want to bully americans kimi

>no drs for lapping cars

>I never understood this either. Why did they make this a thing? Probably yet another one of those things the FIA didn't think through when they made the DRS rules.
its FIA choking in its own rules, regulations and politics. Just like the metal end under the car to make sparks, an artificial fix.
cars could not overtake because aero, so they 'fixed' it with drs.

just like they will fix viewer pleasure in 2017 by making the cars look more aggressive.
and probably add speakers to each car for better sound.

If they won't race Formula or Indy Cars on it then why not GT3 cars or something like that. Or just any cars. Since the track exists it's a shame not to use it. Something historic like that should be used and kept operational for future generations.

Posted this in a /p/ thread but is relevant here.

FUCK Silverstone/Bernie

Went to British GP 10 years ago on all 3 days
>Park at circuit Fri and Sat, park and ride on Sunday but was free

Just bought Friday only tickets
>can't park at circuit unless 2 ticket holders are in the car... Fine I understand this
>charge for Park and ride

>also charge a £7 booking fee

Could Kyvat have won this weekend?

And does anyone have that comparison picture between Rosberg's defence and Hamilton's from older races? I want to tweet it at the Sky guys, they've got a bit much recently.

>cars could not overtake because aero, so they 'fixed' it with drs.
Personally I don't really have a problem with DRS in those normal overtake situations. But it's the lapped-car-DRS that I find unnecessary, unfair and ridiculous.

i started using your mum m8

No.

What Verstappen with nothing short of near flawlesss defence. There was only one real attack in the last 20 laps. Even with the unlikely favourable strategy that max found himself in, Kyvat would have found a way to get reckless and blow it

Because it would require actual repaving, with proper barriers, cutting of trees, safety equipment and all other such things.

I mean Monza can only just afford F1 (Maybe not even that anymore) so expecting them to essentially double their infrastructure budget is a bit ludicrous.

We are lucky they re-concreted it the other year. (I still don't get why people moaned about that. It was going fall apart if it didn't get a concrete repave)

Very mad Aussies

Was this what you wanted?

That's not Amx in the car, is it? Jos was at Benetton in '94, and Amx was only born in '97, so who's the kid?

Thats some sweet-ass flying too.

Why have they never attempted to make a track with a loop-the-loop?

not a '94 benetton. the d2 sponsorship means it's from the late 90s or early 2000s.

Verstappen was testing for Benetton in early 1998, so it probably is Amx.

Oh right, I should have figured he was testing. The fact the car had his name on it was what threw me off.

Nice car, what's the retail on one of those?

Fucking Schumacher.

There are talks of renovating it and having some races on it.

When I started smoking in high school I decided to go for Lucky Strikes because of the Honda BAR team. I wasn't a big fan of the team, but I liked their sort of underdog kind of place.

If I had started smoking, it would certainly have been Luckies too. I was a big Villeneuve fan back in the day.

...

Just noticed that Canada has the same (softest) tyre allocation as Monaco. It looked weird to me, since they are completely different tracks.

>2016 Tyre Allocations
>Australia - supersoft, soft, medium
>Bahrain - supersoft, soft, medium
>China - supersoft, soft, medium
>Russia - supersoft, soft, medium
>Spain - hard, medium, soft
>Monaco - ultrasoft, supersoft, soft
>Canada - ultrasoft, supersoft, soft
>Europe - supersoft, soft, medium
>Austria - ultrasoft, supersoft, soft
>Hungary - supersoft, soft, medium

Street circuit.

OK, that's maybe the one thing they have in common, I give you that. But so are Australia and Baku (and Russia?)

Tyre wear is influenced by many things: The asphalt used to make the track, the number of high lateral G points (such as quick corners), temperature, tyre pressure, and some more I cannot think of right now.

11air pressure.

:^)

Best part of the season coming up, love the twistier tracks.

Of course. I only meant to say that I was surprised that two very, very different tracks have the same tyre allocations. Monaco: slow, high downforce. Canada: fast, medium-low downforce

same, but this brand instead.

I now smoke gold 'boros because they are the smooth "feels like nothing" kind of deal now that I smoke less. A gold/white Marlboro kind of livery would make me cum buckets.

what game?

The similarity between them lies in the kind of corners they have, and the requirements this puts on the car and tyres.

The corners are short, and slow speed ones. No fast sweepers or ultra-long corners (like Spain T3) to put lateral loads on the tyres. The cars that excel at both tracks are ones with very good traction, since you have to accelerate back up from low apex speeds.

Can you imagine, Ferrari out of nowhere with a golden livery. The anti tobacco industry would probably go apeshit. Not that they can do anything about it.

God yes please

If alfa comes, although their colour is obviously red, I'd still kiss their fit for something like that.

dubs and amx wont get another podium until he leaves red bull

better chance of ricciardo never winning a race again.

Figured this is the best place to ask: anyone has the Scott Speed reaction image? You know the one i'm talking about. Google isn't giving me shit.

This desu. Ricky will end up getting BTFO hard. Verstappen is going to be a literal career killer. He hasn't even begun yet and he's already pretty much killed the careers of:

>Kvyat
>Sainz (without Max he would have been a very highly rated rookie with a bunch of praise and a bright future)
>Ricciardo (will be matched by Max soon and by next season getting regularly beat by him, career will be over and any Ferrari interest will fade away as he is exposed as a hack)

the absolute madman

Isn't the banking too high and the track too fast?

Made the designs in Sketchup and planned to export them into F1 challenge using a texture editor for the game, in which you could edit helmets, car liveries and race suits.

Started smoking Marlboro thanks to Ferrari. Also tried Lucky Strikes but they were disco tinued in my country. Still wanna try Mild Seven, West an B&H.

This one?

DESU if an 18 yr old is better the all the experienced pros they should all hang up their gloves and themselves right now.
