Bump

>Bump
What, you already done watching and reading all the shit suggested to you?

THIS

Trust Italy with the good taste. Ping Pong is awesome, great character development and the animation style and aesthetic really bring out the flow in the actual ping pong matches.

Giant Killing anime adaptation is pretty decent but it only has 13 episodes that span up to the first few matches of the season. The manga is superb, it's still going but the scanlation is really behind and going slower still unfortunately. It depicts football realistically, both actual matches and life of players, coaches and team staff.

I don't know Real, Major or All Rounder Meguru but if your recommend them along SD, GK and Ping Pong them I'll surely give them a shot.

Spoilers of 2nd season, best sport anime scene ever made OMHO

youtube.com/watch?v=WGN48Pj2uzs

>I don't know Real, Major or All Rounder Meguru
Real is literally wheelchair Slam Dunk, worth reading if only for Inoue's water colours.
Major is like baseball Tsubasa, only it's actually a fully realistic work with no shonen bullshit. Supposedly has an anime too but I haven't watched it.
ARM is an MMA manga, and it's so good it honestly makes Eden look like the author's second best work.
Also if you don't mind the sports aspect sharing space with romance (on an equal or even inferior basis), anything by Adachi. Careful that you've got a 50% of shit ending tho.
Also good (not ARM tier but certainly better than Ippo) are Karate Shoukushi Kohinata Minoru and Teppuu.

Wheelchair basketball: REAL
Basketball: Slam Dunk (and fuck Kuroko no Basket)
Soccer: Captain Tsubasa
Football: Eyeshield 21
Tennis: Baby Steps (and fuck Prince of Tennis)
MMA: Teppuu
Karate: Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru
Athletics: Suzuka

That's all I can list off the top of my head

dragonball z

>volleyball gay shit for fujoshis
get some taste paco

a boxing anime sounds pretty good.

>Athletics: Suzuka
>Seo Kouji

>Suzuka

何これ

My favorites.

Hajime no ippo - number 1
Haikyuu - number 2 (the rest in no order)
Ookiku furikabutte,
ace of diamond
ping pong the anime

Shamo is amazing.

an car is not an athlete

>amine
Kill yourselves

best extreme sports anime desu

Ping Pong is the greatest sports anime ever made by far, my favorite anime of all time and I usually hate sports anime. It's one of the only that accurately depicts the nature of competitive sports. If you've ever played any sport on a competitive level you should fall in love with it.

desu senpai

...

Slam Dunk
Capitan Tsubasa
Hajime no Ippo

Kokou no Hito

Did I forget anything?

captain tsubasa is shit

she hardly does anything though, neither of the managers do and one of them almost never speaks

the only other waifu is from the girls' volleyball team, and she's shown up for like what, 3 minutes of total screentime across 50 episodes?

>crying in a latioan imageboard
I can tell you were crying because you greentexted.

Yes, 2 mangas about diving, another one about climbing and one about motorsports

>Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru
great taste but not actually an anime

I'd like to see some more kendo though, as a sport rather than just people with swords fightan. I read Kurogane but it got axed early for good reason.

Pic related desu. Loved it as a kid.

...

I knew it was GOAT since the very first episode when they referred to West Ham.

based until the scans randomly skip forward hundreds of chapters

One Outs for Baseball
Giant Killing for footy

friendly reminder that Eyeshield 21 was drawn by Murata Yusuke, the same guy that drew the manga adaptation for One-Punch Man and whose style was the basis for the anime. so even if you're not big american football fan, the style alone is more than enough of a reason to read it at least once.

I vaguely remember it

I miss shows like Kickers and Captain Tsubasa

The Hurricanes

youtube.com/watch?v=TBXxo30t3No

>so even if you're not big american football fan
Yeah well it's not like it's about football anyway, it's Captain Tsubasa/Hajime no Ippo tier shonenshit.
I did like the artstyle tho.

Baby Steps is good especially if you like tennis.

>powerlevel shonenshit
not exactly wrong, there's plenty of that, but it's more about being JUST AS KEIKAKU than superpowers

Hiruma is a glorious asshat

I don't know shit about handegg, so I'm not really equipped to criticize the manga, but the plans and techniques felt totally asspull-ish to me.

well yeah, it's a terrible case to show "this manga represents the sport's rules, flow of play, and general mechanics" but that doesn't necessarily mean it's not still about football. it's still very much a shounen, but more because of ridiculous the plot progression and theatrics than the power levels, even though both are there.

isnt that the peruvian voleyball team anime ?

GOAT sports manga:
Ashita no Joe (which is also the GOAT manga of any genre)

My other favourites:
One Outs
Rookies
Touch
Cross Game
Angel Voice
Giant Killing
Eyeshield 21
King Golf
Ping Pong
Bucchigiri
Bari Bari Densetsu

Shorter sports manga:
Kamen Boxer
Bakudan
Ah! Bishamon High School

MADONNA is a nice little OVA about delinquents playing Rugby, has Wakamoto in it for one episode as well.

It was East Ham actually but yeah the show is great and the manga is even better.

rookies is the goat sports manga
H2
touch
one outs
cross game
ippo
tokyo baseball girls
major

>H2
Worst ending of any Adachi manga, and he's a fucking pro at writing underwhelming endings.

Best opening ever that's for sure

youtube.com/watch?v=xLxPiyOT5OI

hey mate, any idea where I could find Angel Voice scans ? I've read up to chapter 73 on mangafox but it stops there and I was really digging it

It's pretty good

>not posting the GOAT

>muh Ashita no Golovkin
>not Kokou no Hito

Kill yourself, Trapguy

>muh traps
