Who Sharks and Warriors here?

Who Sharks and Warriors here?

>being gay
>being mexican

>being a salty, meth-addicted fag from a flyover state

>being a manlet coastcuck

I'm from Texas

Don't think we're flyover for anyone

>the bay area gets the NBA, NHL and MLB Champions (and hosted the Super Bowl) all in one calender year
>any other city thinking about trying to compare in the current year

lol

So fucking based. We gunna win it all

>San Jose
>Oakland
>San Francisco

>Same city

Nice. LA, New York and Chicago are now all the same city too

>he tried to compare three cities so close they can be grouped up and called the 'bay area'
>so I should be able to equally compare three faraway cities, two of which are on opposite coasts
you've let your anger blind you, friend

Ok, but you basically took 3 different cities and said they are an "area"

They are three distinct cities. Hell, San Jose is like 50 miles from Oakland and San Francisco. Good news, Boston and New York are in the same area too.

you're literally trailer park trash my man.

GO SHARKS!

Neither one of those things are bad
>prove me wrong

its more than once city though. You realize they're part of the bay area right? As in they surround the bay....

>brooklyn
>flushing
>bronx
>manhattan
>east rutherford
See I can do it too

Cleveland and Toronto both touch the same Great Lake. Are they the same area too?

you tell me bro, are they? They could be if they wanted to lol

It's complicated. I was born and raised in the bay, but by the time I was watching sports, I lived elsewhere.

And now that they're goid, I can't really cheer for them. Especially GSW cause I like LeBron.

My home team. Also my nemesis.

San Jose is part of the Bay Area?

>Cleveland and Toronto both touch the same Great Lake.
>Cleveland on lake erie
>Toronto on lake ontario
you wot m8?

Yeah. The Warriors D league team is actually in Santa Cruz. Like 30 min away from San Jose.

No. Most San Jose people consider themselves part of Silicon Valley, not the Bay Area

>santa clara county
>not part of the bay area
>sj no part of the bay area

sj has the luxury of being part of both the bay area and silicon valley desu. SJ is still part of the bay area though

This is literally the only place I've seen people not consider San Jose "the Bay Area"

By any chance do you have friends in Berkeley who told you that?

No they aren't

But Buffalo, Cleveland and Detroit are all on the same great lake

same

All the people from SJ that i've talked to have never said they're not part of the bay. When they talk about silicon valley they refer to it as a separate thing, even though SJ can be considered part of it seeing how they're in it.

I think the people here from SJ just want to feel special or something.

Just moved to Walnut Creek, Im a fan of both.

408 here

Do you consider yourself Bay Area?

I keep seeing that people in 408 don't consider themselves part of the Bay

925 native reporting

Stream link anyone?

/gay/ general?

Who /pub sub/ here?

510 reporting in, live three miles from oracle and grew up playing hockey at sharks ice oakland. what a time to be alive

>t. Jints fan

Nice

408 here, yes the South Bay is part of the Bay Area, obviously.

Bay Area and Silicon Valley are not mutually exclusive.

>tfw live in the bay area
>A's and 49ers fan, not a Warriors fan, don't watch hockey
>have to see all the bandwagon warriors fans and hope they lose just to see everyone sad
>have to see all the warriors fans who are giants fans and not a fan of the baseball team that plays in the same parking lot as the warriors

>This cognitive dissonance

Texas is a layover state, so I guess you got that going for you...

I'm so happy to be a Bay Area native. Who 707/415/831 here?

i support sharks and thunder tho

I fly over your sorry state every time I go to Cancun

It doesn't matter what edgy SJ or Berkeley fags consider part of the Bay or not. Fact is SJ is in the geographical region of the Bay Area.

Bay area sucks, you guys literally just copy socal but somehow manage to make it worse by having inferior asians

So being a Texan?
Guess so.

It's like how "LA" is more than one city. Or "Phoenix". My roommate was from Avondale, which is next to Glendale, and there's also Tempe, Mesa, and Phoenix. All of those cities are distinct, yet all are included under the "Phoenix" umbrella.

The "Bay Area" includes a large number of cities. All distinct, but under the umbrella of the "Bay Area".

This. The "Bay Area" is completely defined. That's it, no need to haggle over what is or isn't considered "Bay Area". It's been done.

>warriors winning it all 2 years in a row
>shorks headed to the chip
>giants fresh off of 3 chips since 2010

bay area is the best sports area in the u.s. right now. raiders stay in the bay area and win it all soon and it isn't even close.

i've never heard that sj was not part of the bay area until i visited Sup Forums. do these people even go outside?

510 checking in. Rest of the country confirmed irrelevant compared to the bay (goat) area

925

Who else /eastbay/ here?

clearly they don't. That shit is retardeded

who /going dumb/ here

925 here

I'm excited about the Sharks playoff run, so far.

I'm a Cubs fan, since I grew up watching them on WGN.
I can't wait for the Cubs vs Giants 3-game series, this weekend.

Sharks fan from Ontario, don't watch basketball and have taken only mild interest in the Raptors since they started making the playoffs.

>there will never be another hyphy revival
ripip mac dre

I don't have a good feeling about the Warriors/Thunder series

>and soon, the Giants too.

510 here.

Former 925 living in 209 here

I got exiled :(

3 of those are part of the same city.

Pleasanton here. Where are you? Co Co County, or one of Pleasanton/Dublin/Livermore?

So glad I'm a Texan

Today I learned you can combine 3 cities and claim it as part of an area

>Being this stupid

What was wrong with that statement?

Oakland, San Jose and San Francisco are all different
San Jose is its own metro area according to the US census

Are you saying the census is wrong?
