first for riff god

ONE NOTHING WRONG WITH ME

youtube.com/watch?v=fDEh24mhQQQ

This has to be the most absurd snake oil product I've ever seen. I unsubbed from this guy for trying to shamelessy sell me this shit.

incorrect

The guy sucks at demos anyways. Just look at his reviews of drive pedals. All he does is play blues licks at various levels of gain. He doesn't showcase anything that the pedal can do other than that. Andy and Don Carr are so much better than him.

did he ever get this guitar back?

What can you do, guitarists gonna snake oil

lol
i dont think so
he should just really have a new one made

Should I get a BOSS RV-3 or a Nine Volt Bath Time Reverb?

This shit actually works though. A friend of mine left one on his guitar for 2 weeks non-stop and it improved the "openness" of the sound.

I'm not sure if it was this exact product, but it was something similar.

When in doubt, go for the non-hipster one.

Boutique pedals vs. mass produced boils down to do you want a toy or do you want a workhorse.

Can someone who likes Teles more than Strats explain why they feel that way? I'm not saying you're wrong I just wanna know.

What happened to his git?

>likes Teles more than Strats
I have down's syndrome. Might have something to do with it.

apparently first act doesn't do custom shit anymore though.

is 13 years old too old for guitar strings

yeah but he could get some luthier to do it, heck he could even contact Gibson (which he likes).
personally id want an 11 string, all but the low e string

I prefer the sound of a tele bridge. It's just a little more rude. Tele neck pickup is a joke though.

ya

Old enough for kisses

Yes, in the UK

A vibe?

anyone have one of these? do you have/can you make a clip of the sound that doesn't consist solely of blues licks?

> Tele neck pickup is a joke though
there's a cure for that

I know man, I've got a p90 in there.

Anyone play through software purely in a live context? Like, running your guitar through a laptop in real time with minimal latency.

What is a good audio interface for this kind of purpose?

good lad

rme makes good interfaces

you would get lower latency live using a mac for your software than windows

Where can I get a decent acoustic archtop for < $300?

Unfortunately I don't have a Mac, only windows. Im playing through a HP Envy at the moment, lowest I can go without hiccups is 96 buffer size, with a Zoom G5 pedal. I wanna bring it to 64 buffer size, and I wonder if a proper interface like a focusrite 2i2 would help.

>have small hands

Should I just give up now?

Trump?

Yo, is that your guitar?

no

No, just get a parlor size with a thin neck.

just buy a decent purpose designed amp modeler if your going straight to front of house for gigs. It might work for you most of the time, but those couple times you get Latency issues mid gig suck ass.

no, it's just a p90 tele I googled
I do own an aerodyne tele though

*a laptop+bias might work...

This. Leave the software at home.

Problem is most cheap modelers suck ass big time, compared to desktop stuff like Bias or S-Gear. My Zoom G5's amp simulation sounds like absolute crap and only a couple of effects are useable, and the next big thing is the AX8 which is still too expensive for me.

Shit

I should get my bass back in a day or two, now with a 3 way switch for each humbucker.
I'm also the guy with the ~130 year old cello if someone remembers, the last few parts arrive tomorrow and I should be able to make it playable again.

Good week overall, I'm also loving my EUB lately.

>His instrument and amp aren't made by the same company

What's your excuse, /gg/?

Rubio?

>brand loyalty

HoTone doesn't make instruments.

i wouldnt get the focusrite because ive heard alot of people complaining about them

i have a steinberg ur22 and get like 9-10ms round trip latency on 96 sample rate

rondomusic.com/furrianmnp90vwh.html

My bass has probably 13 year old strings on it

I'm not a retard.

7ender 7an here

Oh please, not this meme again....

I will be this guy when I get my Albert King HH signature

>Fender cabinet
>markbass amp
>not a single fender bass
:^) and I love my setup and basses.

same price + the bath time is the less toyish of the 2 tho

>play guitar
>thinking of getting a bass

I love making bass lines but i'm not sure if I would regret it in the end

Nobody can tell the difference between a Squier and a Fodera bass in the mix. Just get any bass that feels good and isn't complete trash, they're not that expensive. You won't regret a few hundred bucks on an instrument that you enjoy and that can be genuinely useful to you.

i dont think you would regret it

i am thinking of getting a bass myself but cant afford to right now

Are hagstrom guitars good or just a meme?

guitar is my main instrument. i love writing bass lines, and like he just mentioned, you don't have to dish out a lot of money to get a good tone. i got a vintage modified jazz bass for around $250, but you could spend less and still get a decent bass. i run it into a presonus tube pre and this is the result after some processing

clyp.it/40avz15j

i play keyboard/piano and guitar

i only buy cheaper instruments because im a poorfag

i would probably buy some shit like an ibanez 5 string desu

>nobody can tell the difference between a squier and a fodera
I doubt nobody could do the same between a squier and an MIA fender guitar

Is it possible to record from my amp into my computer or something. Someway to record my electric easily. I don't know. I'm a bit new at this

get an interface and a mic and you mic your amp to record it

Ive been playing bass for this band for awhile now and were gunna start gigging soon, all I have atm is a fender rumble 25w

any suggestions? I'd like to keep it under 500

Don't see why you couldn't just go from the headphone jack to the mic input on your computer

Get a decent audio interface and use cubase or audacity.

i use cubase and its great for recording even the amp rack is decent if you dont have mic and amp

hey Sup Forums dudes, can anyone help me choose a colour for my strat? pic related is what i'm thinking

i'd like a humbucker in the bridge, but i can't decide between red or blue

thanks guys

the red and black one looks the best to me

Blue and swap it with a tort, it'll look sick as fuck breh

>he doesn't play stone picks

Shig

my hands get sweaty when i play and this would probably slip out of my fingers

that combo is exactly what i want to avoid, because the music i write is basically weezer lite haha

>He uses stone picks and not ones made from spaceship materials

How's it feel living in the past?

Ampeg

HE DIDN'T ASK ABOUT BASS STRINGS

You forgot the important part. In the mix.

Those look sexy.

How much are they? I might pick up a pack or two.

I get a massive amount of feedback whenever I have an open string on guitar. How can I fix this?

>packs

M8 they're $35 each

Is your guitar semi-hollow?

people give you hate for how expensive those picks are, but to be honest if I had enough disposable income I'd totally spoil myself with shit like that

Too glassy sounding

It's a solid body

Look at it this way, they'll last for life if you don't drop or lose them. If you take in to consideration that they're $35 each you're much less likely to lose them because of the value. If you misplace one you'll spend some time looking for it.

I like the way they play and sound but I really like the fact that each one is a functional one of a kind piece of art.

How much did you pay for the mod to your bass?

What amp and string gauge are you using? How far away from the amp are you when you play?

can someone recommend me some top tier pedals and help me waste all my money.

i'm in need of a fuzz, overdrive, compression, and delay. i'm open to whatever else.

trying to play shoegaze / noise

Just buy a vox VT40X and call it good.

Is tonefactor a reputable retailer?

.9 or .10s don't remember what I put on last. It happens no matter what distance I'm at.

Fuck you

I want this guitar so bad it hurts

Well what amp is it

File your nut

honestly they look like they sound like trash. please upload a clip of you playing them

i just feel like plastic is neutral enough to sound great on steel strings, stone i feel like would sound weirdly resonant

Vypyr 60w. It wasn't a problem until recently

Very strong argument you've got there user, I'm kinda actually considering one

Everybody stop using the word resonant until you know how to use it. It does not mean "that sound I can't put my finger on." Be as specific as you can when you talk about tone because it's an incredibly vague area to discuss. Leave the buzzwords to the audiophiles.
