Summer will be over soon. Did you make good use of it?
Listen to your library, show off your backlog, babble about new music, hold a seance for Jangle's thrift tourney, do your best not to shitpost, and just let the good times flow.
I have 100 albums to get through but afterwards this should be fun ;p
Easton Price
Start with The For Carnation
Nathaniel Murphy

My rec is David Thomas Broughton - Crippling Lack
Rudi if u read this u should know the pic of u behind the piano is a Quality picture and im proud of u
Jose Russell

Matthew Rogers

Tyler Russell
>Brainbombs is trash mixed with shit mixed with traaaaaash
can confirm only 3 of these albums are even remotely good :^) have fun
Henry Morales
/:
Alexander Hill
for real though if you talk about Brainbombs as being clever or funny or fucking raw and not edgier than a 14 year old at a country school I will bully the heck outta you
John Scott
ooh which ones?
Henry Miller
Tuxedomoon is fantastic and brainbombs is the best trash on the block, feck off, you make steve irwin sad
there are two (2) performances of Quatuor Pour la Fin du Temps on there so u could replace one of em imo
Caleb Green
I don't really like any good music so I should be fine

it's already an 8/10
Brandon Hall

Owen Turner
>greatest moment in mandkind >not this
Isaac Watson
nick cave today but before, some random record give me a record
Is it possible to maintain quality releasing music so fast? Beach House sorta did it last year.
Daniel Morales
That's so strange to hear, mostly because the biggest complaint I hear from critics for Beach House revolves around stagnation and repeated formulas.
But I guess if you love their style, this is only a plus. Which I totally encourage, especially since they have such a solid fanbase
Asher Martin
Who on /daily/ has the most RYM ratings?
I know fish has 3,000+ but does anyone have more?
Aiden Miller
i like beach house, never really loved them, but i did enjoy both of their records last year. you're right though they dont do too much outside of dreamy pop.
To be fair he's had his profile for about a year and a half more than me, but what's cool is that he doesn't even have like 1,000 singles rated, which plenty people who have as many of him do.
>dadrock and classical is there anyone cool with ~5000 ratings? Everyone who has that many ratings is either a /rym/ tryhard avant-teen or a 30-something dadrocker like Grampus
Blake Roberts
I think I could fall in the same boat. It's actually kind of great to know there are bands that alway put out high-quality produced music you can always depend on, even if it isn't innovative.
Maybe nat? He rates all of Pink Floyd's albums ridiculously low (Dark Side of the Moon got half a star)
Parker Howard
>insulting Grampus for what pvrpose
I think you may be projecting a bit hard buddy boy. You wanna post your RYM?
Nolan Johnson
Fish, how's the new area?? Did you make any meme friends/pizzas yet?
Michael Stewart
aye Bearboy
Nathaniel Myers
yeah this definitely has that brazilian tramp sound that's already apparent on the cover
Michael Gomez
Fun fact: He's been making this music pretty much nonstop since the mid 60s.
David Allen
D*ng, that's excellent
Did you ever manage to compile that playlist for your friend's missionary trip?
Brody James
i can very much believe it looks like he predates my boy jandek then
Joseph Jenkins
Yep! 16 gigs of music I'm currently waiting to transfer on to this mp3 player. It's taken like 8 hours tho -_-
Took a tiny break from constant music and have been watching Carl Sagan's Cosmos for the past couple days. What've you been up to?
Luke Clark
I quite enjoy the cowboy bebop soundtrack
Joseph Reyes
Jandek is the easiest comparison to make, but Damião Experiença's stuff is even harder to find. His full discography isn't even known.
I kind of wonder how he got pressed back in 60s Brazil. He supposedly lived in a palace of trash or something.
Nathaniel Rogers
also y' better not
Oliver Sullivan
I've always wanted to see Sagan's Cosmos. I've heard it's great.
Not much on my end. I'm really enjoying my new job and driving the stick-shift company car (though I still need more practice I'm getting better at it). Besides that I'm looking forward to seeing Angel Olsen this week, especially since My Woman turned out to be a killer followup to Burn Your Fire For No Witness.
Matthew Ross
slow person me person here's a drone thing first reply chooses next
Hamlet was pretty boring first but became quite decent on the second half
and pumice - pebbles would of gotten lower if it weren't for it's phych folk and lo--fi elements mixd with drone.
where are the tourneys at btw, i missed just ok's though sadly
I see. I'd like to look up more stuff about it but it seems a lot of it it's on Portuguese. Well I can always translate it, and it's not like I don't already understand a big part of it thanks to Spanish.
How did you learn about him anyway?
Aaron Diaz
;)
It's really fantastic. One of my all time favorites, but you have to really be interested in the material (though imo it's pretty hard not to be) or it might get boring.
Juan Gray
don't want to whiteknight or anything but the sshx stuff last thread was creepy
Kayden Baker
been listening to a lot of Everything Everything lately. What else can you recommend?
Lucas Rogers
sunset rubdown
someone choose from this
Mason Collins
>hold a seance for Jangle's thrift tourney Yo no way did that make a comeback
Isaiah Rodriguez

Dominic Lee

Janggle, I totally did listen to my album btw I wouldn't do you wrong like that
Brody Lopez
>implying I only listen to dadrock >implying I don't generally listen about 200 current year albums every year

Isaiah Rodriguez
hey jangle fuck you dud
Sebastian Carter

Tuxedomoon are meh sometimes good and At the Mountains of Madness is good but overrated Brainbombs are p fucking shit though

Tuco I grew up watching this junk, it's soaked in the ol Medusa bologna forever. But just imagine if it was real..
Yeah, I'm glad Sup Forums still has threads dedicated to it (or did that change with alternative sports?) Either way, it's something I enjoy joking about with others who were in the loop
Henry Cruz
>wew, sounds like that move that one guy does where he gets you in the corner and dry humps your face Perfect sweet, I'm working on my tough guy vibes.
Isaiah Nguyen

Juan Murphy

Kayden Mitchell

Liam Flores

Isaiah Mitchell

Lincoln Price
I'm just posting Anger dude, it's ok.
Thomas Rodriguez
Have you considered posting Joy instead? No need for all this negativity.
Brody Watson
I don't know Joy. Is Joyce ok with you?
Camden Nelson
don't touch him.
Robert Barnes
I'm not touching him, just posting pictures of him.
Landon Adams

>Cardiacs couldn't really get behind the theatralic voice Mixed feelings about the instrumenation/style of the album ocassionally it works, but it wears off quite quickly >Tub RIng Cardiacs with more variety and a better vocalist >Lena pretty well done pop songs, ASAP is great The balads were awful probably won't come back to the whole album, but some tracks for sure

Jonathan Peterson
>Custody of Dominick ladder match HAHAHAHAHA I forgot about that
>D*ng Watch your language bear, are you trying to get your Sup Forums account deactivated?! Also did you peep my reply last thread
>(or did that change with alternative sports?) It did. Now every time I want to read the skateboarding general I have to wade through dozens of threads calling CM punk a fag or whatever
>*double tip* That's just straightening your hat out
Daniel Butler
How about I straighten your shit out faggot?
Austin Brown
Try it bitch, I'll wreck you. You want to try to finish me? You couldn't even finish the breadwinner
Chase Watson
>elseq's 1 through 5 and Confield HO BOY
Lucas Long
Good thing you're not a breadwinner, just a good for nothing freeloading hippie piece of shit innit boy?
Isaiah Clark
Akina Nakamori - Fushigi Nice piece, has remarkable disco a e s t h e t i c s. Akina has a rather good voice too. "Heart Of Glass" and "Labyrinth" were the most catchy for me.
Oxbow - The Narcotic Story I was bit dizzy while listening to this and it fit really well at the time. It was quite relatable, sexual and dark, two qualities that are definitely up my alley. Mix of blues rock + noise rock turned out unexpectedly good.
Ryan Wright
You people don't seriously listen to Les Rallizes Denudes in 2016, right? They're the Dark Souls of music; played out fedoracore.
Cooper Watson
t. Fishmans shill
Mason James
Hey I go to school
William Edwards
>I go to school underage b& in 3 2 1
Charles Edwards
College school my dude I'm 23
Anthony Perry
People at least like them for the music. People care less for generic psych rock with gain and more for the SO UNDERGROUND image.
Easton Powell
>People at least like them for the music [citation needed]
