It's compelling for a demo record, I like the background noises. Adds to the atmosphere.

My band ()
had almost half our entire album lost one time. I, like an idiot didnt back up all music and my computer fell and ruined the hard drive. Lost 2 complete songs and 2 more in the recording process. It was terrible. But that was last summer for our last year's album. This summer I lost one song. It was weird, it just disappeared. So we had to re-record Hands of Nebraska. Turned out better the second time though so maybe it was a sign to re-write it a bit

i've had my daw crash and I lost whole recording sessions before. My worst fear is having my computer completely die while I have an almost finished album in the works. So now I compulsively save my projects and whenever I finish tracking I put the tracks on an external hard drive.

some people [like me] just rec other people that they've already listened to, doesn't mean all the people they've rec'd they listened to today

gave peach fuzz a try, wow its pretty good but i'm not too sold on the vocals. i've been busy for the past hour working on a song so i'll check the rest later if i can remember

>you realize that recs are usually rollover recs from other times people listened to your music and they are just doing it because these threads are just toxic circlejerks where people listen to some of a track, then quickly go back to listening to their own music because of the massive amount of ego involved in all of this.

fair enough

that's why I never Rec. I'll usually just give some sort of constructive criticism

I'm self conscious on my vox, so I can see you not being huge on em. Most people seem to not hate them though, fortunately haha. I think you'll dig the other songs on there though :)

Welcome to the circlejerk.

This has an interesting appeal. Wouldn't listen to it all the time but the feeling is equally chaotic to "This Song Is A Mess But So Am I".

Lo-Fi doesn't mean that you don't mix nor master and charge 5$ for an album.

why are you so quick to assume it's me? i've never complained about listens in all the time i've posted here.

yeah im sure the rest i'll enjoy a bit as well

constructive criticism is way better than just giving someone a (you) but not doing either makes people seem like they just posted and didn't even bother to check at least one song from anyone. i know its not the case for everyone but it just looks that way

>Lo-Fi doesn't mean that you don't mix nor master and charge 5$ for an album

Yes, I'm happy someone is saying this. I hate the lo-fi tag. Its just a way to seem cool and hip while saying "I'm lazy and dont feel like learning how to produce/record music". The original lo fi artists did it out of necessity

Yeah I get what you mean. Generally If I here something I really like in hear ill just Download it. Maybe not even say something. If I feel like i can help, I'll give them some feedback

Description:
"Bummer jams about a loved one's alcoholism and attempted suicides."
- First Thought Worst Thought

First Thought Worst Thought's Buried in the Bed is a blur. In a metaphorical sense. The blend of shoegazey folk and hazy, blunted lyricism, filtered through a lens that borders between consciousness and drunkenness, gives the listener both a feeling of rest and restlessness. In that, there comes the beautiful blur.

Now available for stream and download!

Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give First Thought Worst Thought some love. Thank You. :)

Will still be accepting submissions for the label.

Anything from Russia that isn't party rap or that annoying reggae voice gets a rec from me.

But seriously this was a fun kind of chaos. Nothing is too harsh despite being noisy and everyone seems to know what they're going for. Really makes you feel like you're hanging out with some mates.

Love this. Only criticism is the track names being all lower case.
Production is pleasant and the overall it sounds very unique without trying very hard to.
