Oh come on! I like Dilla! Was my list that bad??

So you have to like shitty underground rap to not be considered a pleb? Mainstream hip hop is best hip hop 99% of the time that's why I chose the albums I did

No, that is not what I meant. What I meant is that I recommended easily accessible albums, that you won't need a lot of "experience" to enjoy.

I'm in need of recs to get better acquainted with the genre, would love some help

By The Throat feels much more like a feelsy alt rock album in a lot of ways

this is tight

>By The Throat feels much more like a feelsy alt rock album in a lot of ways
Well yeah, he admitted himself that he wasn't that into hip-hop but it's the rapping that makes it stand out

try again with albums people will actually know

his delivery is incredibly fitting for what he's conveying, that's for sure. It's probably one of the best recs for rock oriented folks to get into rap

I was under the impression a lot of these are well-known. those artists are discussed on Sup Forums more than often
