I wasn't a fan of this when I listened to it, but I'm still interested in Ween and like some of their songs. Mutilated Lips used to be my jam but no longer and that's all that stuck at the time
I liked this album during an edgy/getting into Sup Forums phase... not really a fan of Swans anymore, but any resentment is unfair

The Pod is one of my all-time favorite albums. Everything about it appeals to me, including the story of how it was created.
I definitely find their music can be accentuated and enhanced by drugs since they made so much of it under the influence of them, but I don't think it's the intention behind it. Having a sense of humor is much more essential to a Ween fan than booze or drugs, imo.
