Lou Reed was very much respected, and Metallica still put on a good live show even if their music's been pretty lacklustre for a while, but they did not work well together and this is the absolute nadir of their collaboration to me

though he was only really popular with Black Flag, not solo, I think this deserves a mention

hahahha oh wow I thought it was pretty tight until the vocals, what the fuck is wrong with mustaine! hahaha
DAMN, his voice is officially fucked.
eh instrumentals are still rad at least
he sounds like castrated Lemmy trying to sound hard
IIRC, this was the last year before Mustaine finally gave in and downpitched the songs live.
That was a hilariously bad performance from Kevin but at least the band are on form.
I was laughing every time his voice broke.

>Metallica still put on a good live show even if their music's been pretty lacklustre for a while
Metallica's music has always been lackluster
Not bad. Doesn't capture the energy of the album version but not a bad effort.

Eh, not nearly as bad as some of the shit posted here.

Remember him like this, user
Is animal collective ever good live?
From the youtube clips I've seen they just come across as a group that just doesn't work live.

Man, i remember watching that VMA performance live. I was a huge GN'R fan at the time and to see him look and sound like that and be surrounded by those freak replacement players made 12 year old me want to cry.
14 years later he's looking and sounding like his old self. It's quite amazing what he's pulled off this year.
Anything sung by Ian Anderson past 2000 or so.
what a fucking witch, goddamn
SOAD used to be so fucking horrible live jesus christ

I like this one because it's more of a multipart shit show
When theyre bad theyre bad, but when theyre good theyre really good, really depends on the album that they just put out
After Sung Tong- Awful shows
After Feels- ok shows
After Strawberry- good shows
After MPP- ok shows
After Centipede- god tier shows (easily their best era live)
After Painting With- really good shows
Crap, he owned those AC/DC songs. He made Brian Johnson look embarrassing.
