Mean mr Mustard shouldve been on Side A, then the B side wouldve been GOAT

MMT is better. It's the best album they ever released IMO, with Strawberry Fields Forever being their best song
>b-b-but it's a compilation of singles for American audiences!
Doesn't matter, it's a cohesive whole that features some of their most experimental tracks in the entire oeuvre working beautifully alongside their most playful and poppy.
>b-b-but the cover art is awful
You know what, you got me there. The cover art is awful

underusage of george harrison.

overusage of paul mcartney

Maxwells Silver Hammer & Come Together

Revolver is their undisputed best

>all this people coming up with meme answers because it's literally a flawless album

Best songs on the album (bar the first two tracks) and holds it together.

>implying Polythene Pam doesnt transition into She came in through the bathroom window

Maxwell's hammer is legitimately shit

Too derivative of Tame Impala

Carry That Weight is the best on the album.

THE

FACT

Maxwell's a fine fun song wtf

THAT

The fact that so many books still name the Beatles as "the greatest or most significant or most influential" rock band ever only tells you how far rock music still is from becoming a serious art. Jazz critics have long recognized that the greatest jazz musicians of all times are Duke Ellington and John Coltrane, who were not the most famous or richest or best sellers of their times, let alone of all times. Classical critics rank the highly controversial Beethoven over classical musicians who were highly popular in courts around Europe. Rock critics are still blinded by commercial success. The Beatles sold more than anyone else (not true, by the way), therefore they must have been the greatest. Jazz critics grow up listening to a lot of jazz music of the past, classical critics grow up listening to a lot of classical music of the past. Rock critics are often totally ignorant of the rock music of the past, they barely know the best sellers. No wonder they will think that the Beatles did anything worthy of being saved.

Does Scaruffi genuinely think this?

>implying Beethoven wasn't mainstream as fuck

It's not this

>people hating Maxwell's Silver Hammer

stop saying that like you know what you're talking about

The main melody for Carry that Wieght is pretty corny. It's mostly made up for by the fucking class recapitulation of You Never Give me Your Money and the lead into The End but still.

Is I Want You the greatest Beatles song?

I'd say it's closest to a flawless album that the Beatles had.

Paul is Dead
