24h of nurburgring race thread thread, comfy night time edition almost halfway done
Logan Howard
Man it's as if you had plenty of time to make the thread you desired but still failed to do so.
Justin Ward
I worked all day and haven't sat down at my computer until an hour after this thread was made
Jayden Ross
Indy is SOLD OUT for the first time in DECADES. I'll be leaving the hotel a bit early for sure
Andrew Thomas
Sun coming up at the Ring

>Bentley Motorsport can confirm that Bentley Team Absolute driver Andrew Palmer will remain in hospital following an incident at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut earlier today.
>He has sustained a head injury and is being closely monitored after treatment by specialists.
Per RLM via Hindhaugh: Aston Martin confirmed in the last few minutes that Jorge De La Torre has suffered torso injuries including fractures and severe bruising.
That crash must've been fucking huge.
Lincoln Phillips
Bumping because OKC lost
Ethan Watson
>Palmer’s #87 Bentley Team Absolute Continental GT3 made heavy contact with the stationary #4 Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 of de la Torre in the Turn 1 runoff.
>Eyewitness reports indicate that Palmer’s car catapulted over the Aston Martin upon impact, and flew into the air before coming to rest in a wooded area, past several tire barriers.
>The cause of the accident is unknown, although de la Torre’s car had stopped in the runoff area prior to Palmer’s arrival at high speed.
>It took more than 20 minutes to extricate Palmer from the car.
Luke Moore
It was in morning practice and an absolute freak accident. If you know what T1 looks like there and Northeastern brush is like, that shit is thick. It's amazing they got him out of his car in 20 minutes. The tarp might not be a great sign but it also happens to cars that get absolutely bent.
For a Skip Barber owned track, it's amazing how no good onboard vids exist.
Robert Cox
From the way John Hindhaugh delivered the Aston Martin statement, I was scared shitless he was going to say 'has succumb to his injuries'.
Blake Edwards
In during a billion monkeyball "apologixe" and memeiors threads kill the rest of the board
Brandon James
>tarp over car
Lucas Rivera
Damn.
Ryder Rogers
>he was going to say 'has succumb to his injuries'. He was way more somber in the Aston driver's brief so I was expecting the same. But it probably looks very grim for both drivers. And Aston has had more time to prepare the statement. We got it nighttime on the same day for us with the Bentley brief.
Anyone know if it's gonna rain at either oval race today?
Blake Cooper
Slight chance of afternoon storms at Indy, and the tropical system will affect Charlotte on Sunday. I predict that the 600 will either start late or be postponed until Monday.
Ryder Bell
That's shitty on both accounts. Almost as shitty as that caution that "needed to be called because Erik Jones had such a hard crash" and cost Larson the win.
Thomas Anderson
Does anyone know if Formula Renault 3.5 is showed somewhere today? I'd like to see the conditions in Monaco.
Grayson Adams
They have a shitty website which you might be able to find international broadcasts and use stream sites for.
Lincoln Hernandez
what the hell they're not even listed on Renault Sport website
James Murphy
oh wait, according to wiki it's actually Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 now, but Monaco programme has it under Formula Renault 3.5...
Anthony James
It won't be racing at Monaco this season. The contract with Renault expired last year so it lost the support event spot
Camden Peterson
Formula reanult 2.0 nec was this morning at monaco, they completed only a 5 or so green flag laps.
Charles Jackson
Formula Renault 3.5 was dropped by Renault, now it's called Formula V8 3.5, it has less teams and drives on different circuits
David Taylor
Indy thread here made by an impatient fuck but might be a new one soon
Not sure I know how to feel about it. And the wrong car won.
Matthew Campbell
Anyone got a decent stream for NASCAR?
Jonathan Phillips
It doesn't start for another 2 hours or so and it might be rained out. Check the thread closer to then.
David Perry
Race start moved up 10 minutes to try and avoid rain.
Michael Wilson
good to know.
